Seibertron.com are reporting that the 2011 Tokyo Toy Fair will have more exclusive Transformers toys this year, in the form of Black Transformers United Cybertronian Optimus Prime and Cybertronian Megatron. These figures are more commonly seen as the War for Cybertron toys.
I a move which would make Hasbro happy, TakaraTomy have asked some Japanese resellers to stop stocking 3rd Party Products (unlicenced items sold as Transformers). One such retailer, Red Murcury, has cancelled all pre-orders of particular items after receving notification form TakaraTomy to stop selling 3rd party products due to copyright and trademark violations.
With the devasation caused by the Tsunami and both recent earthquakes in Japan, this move would help protect legitimate Japanese business, at a time that their country and economy needs it.
It will be interesting to see what other steps are taken. Will TakaraTomy look to stop more items, what does this mean for the WonderFest (though they are all licenced goods) and will Hasbro start to try and stop US retailers from stock the non-official and unlicensed items (with the run up to Transformers: Dark of the Moon and it's impending increase on Transformers sales).
The following items appeared on TakaraTomy's list
Kup Head Set
SFX Scouting Force X - Camera Set
Primary School: Primars
Head Robots: Blood
Bee 01

Derrick J Wyatt has posted two new Transformers Animated character designs up on Twitter. The images are of Transformers Animated Stampy as well as Transformers Animated Chromia.
It brings me great pleasure to be able to kick off what should be an exciting Spring and Summer to visitor of Transformers At The Moon with three new Transformers Toys image galleries. Being a European based website we felt that it would only be fitting to kick off our "Summer Special" as the Transformers community builds towards the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon by adding three galleries of European exclusive figures.
First up, we have added an image gallery of Motorvator Gripper. This image gallery contains comparison images to Brainmaster Blacker as well images showing him combined with both Braver and Laster.
The second and third galleries are of something a little special and yet also related to the Motorvator Gripper gallery. What are they? Well they are image galleries of a paint-sample of Motorvator Flame and an image gallery of a paint-sample of Motorvator Lightspeed! What is a paint-sample, you may be asking yourself, well when Hasbro decide to recolour a figure with a different colour scheme, hand-paint a mock-up version using the existing figures mold. In this case Hasbro Europe took the Japanese Brainmaster figures Braver and Laster and hand-painted them into the proposed colour schemes for their European releases. We picked up these figures from the head of Hasbro Europe who was also responsible for presenting these toys to the heads of the individual European territories at the time. The figures had not been transformed since that presentation until we bought them, which meant that they are very stiff.
The image galleries of these unique figures include comparisons with their Japanese counter-parts but not their final European release, as we do not own those yet. These figures are from an import period in the history of the Transformers line, as it was a time that support for Transformers had dried up within the US, but it was the lines popularity both within Europe and Japan that kept Transformers going and would eventually lead on the release of Generation 2.

Mastermind Creations updated their blog last night with some robot mode images of their upcoming third-party release of KM03 Cyclops in robot form. You can view the blog entry here and the images below.
The TFCC updated their website last night with the following announcement and preview image of their upcoming exclusive figure G2 Ramjet.
"We have received the final Ramjet sample and have posted it to the club
toys section. Of interest, it appears that Takara actually remolded his
nose cone in rubber. From a close look, it is actually a new molded
piece and the nose cone is in fact different from the Classics release.
In addition to that, each Ramjet will come with actual stickers affixed
to the shoulder and feet sections. This is truly a G2 Ramjet homage and
will look AMAZING in any TF collection!
This item will be available for Pre-order later this month. If
you are not yet a club member, now is the time to join! You will be able
to purchase this great figure, Animated Transtech Cheetor and you will
get the FREE 2012 Membership Incentive figure (to be revealed at BotCon
2011!)"

In a follow-up to the news we reported on the 28th March regarding upcoming Transformers Dark Of The Moon toys where the first images of the Generation One Grimlock inspired Mini-con repaint called Dualor was revealed two new auction on Yahoo Japan have appeared online today with his partners Rav and Triceradon
The Associated Press have published the following article regarding the pay packet of Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner.
"NEW YORK – Brian Goldner, the CEO of the nation's No.2 toy maker,
Hasbro Inc., received a pay package valued at $23 million for 2010,
nearly triple his pay package in 2009, due to hefty stock and option
awards designed to keep him with the company, according to a regulatory
filing.
Most of the package came in the form of stock grants and stock options worth a total of $18.8 million when they were granted.
Goldner's performance-based bonus edged down 4
percent, to $2.6 million from $2.7 million, because Hasbro's revenue
fell slightly during the year and did not meet company targets.
Some of the stock grants and options Goldner, 47,
received are tied into a new agreement that extends his employment with
Hasbro through 2014 with Hasbro. That contract boosted his base salary
to nearly $1.2 million from $1 million in 2009.
Most of the stock options and grants were intended to
entice Goldner, who has been CEO since 2008 and has been with Hasbro
for 11 years, to remain at the company.
The grants "address the risk that Mr. Goldner could
be recruited away from the company by a competitive offer in the
future," Hasbro said in a filing it made Wednesday evening with the
Securities and Exchange Commission. The grants also help offset pension
payments Goldner won't receive because the company froze its pension
plans in 2007.
Goldner's other compensation and perks included
$9,846 in above-market returns on deferred compensation and $420,662 in
matching contributions to savings accounts and retirement accounts and
for financial planning, legal and tax preparation services.
Pawtucket, R.I.-based Hasbro's 2010 net income
climbed 6 percent while its revenue dipped 2 percent to $4 billion, hurt
by difficult comparisons with 2009, when Hasbro sold toys tied in with
two summer blockbusters, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and "G.I.
Joe: Rise of the Cobra." It also faced an unexpected drop in sales in
December around the crucial holiday period.
Its share price jumped 47 percent during the year.
The Associated Press formula calculates an
executive's total compensation during the last fiscal year by adding
salary, bonuses, perks, above-market interest the company pays on
deferred compensation and the estimated value of stock and stock options
awarded during the year. The AP formula does not count changes in the
present value of pension benefits. That makes the AP total slightly
different in most cases from the total reported by companies to the
Securities and Exchange Commission.
The value that a company assigned to an executive's
stock and option awards for 2010 was the present value of what the
company expected the awards to be worth to the executive over time.
Companies use one of several formulas to calculate that value. However,
the number is just an estimate, and what an executive ultimately
receives will depend on the performance of the company's stock in the
years after the awards are granted. Most stock compensation programs
require an executive to wait a specified amount of time to receive
shares or exercise options."
