Re: Flames of War
BMW Sidecar Combinations!
Can field these as transports for either Scout squads or for 2iC's. Lots of movement, and an extra Machine Gun! Bugger to stick together though... At one stage I was considering picking up an Italian mid-war Motorbike army... but after sticking 4 of these together I decided against it... |

Re: Flames of War
Now for the really tasty stuff!
Artillary batallions... all for indirect shooty shooty goodness! You'll note there are 4 dug in guns, with a staff table, HQ and two lots of Observers (for targeting those hard to spot dug in units of infantry!). A close up on the guns ready to pound the Ruskies! And another close up... this time you can see the Staff Table (for co-ordinating continuous bombardments without having to re-roll in to hit) and the Command team. |

Re: Flames of War
More Artillary, this time mobile!
These are Hornisse or Hornet Mobile Artillary pieces. Same guns as the previous artillary emplacements, but this time with treads and a little side armour. |

Re: Flames of War
These are some of my favourite bits for the Germans - will definately be picking up more!
KUBELWAGONS! Pre-cursor to the VW Beetle, the Kubelwagon was a cheap and funky little German transport. I've included them with the Artillary pieces as they're often driven by Observer teams - get them to the front quickly and inconspicuously so they can spot enemy entrenched troops, and get them out again when it gets hairy. Kubelwagons roll! |

Re: Flames of War
Now for a German Standard;
Anti-Aircraft 88's... Not actually much cop against aircraft, but my goodness these burn through tanks... Two observer teams, Command, car and Half-tracks to tow the guns. Three shots per round with the additional crew... The guns again... full of tank poundy goodness! |

Re: Flames of War
These are Objective markers; they came with an army box set I picked up (78th Sturmdivision) with the idea that they are things that can be fought over (most of the scenarios need at least 2).
Wrecked Artillary piece. Dead horses! |

Re: Flames of War
Last batch... for now!
I got 6 of these in two starter sets, and picked up another box to beef it up to a 1000pt army. Bring on the Yanks! Sherman Platoon. Note that two of them have the innovative 'hedge-cutters' designed to deal with the French Boccage. My two Sherman Command tanks. Full Company - HQ, Sherman platoon and Sherman longer barrelled 76mm gun platoon. Armour rolls! |
