The 2nd part of my 30th Birthday present to myself arrived - Justice League of America presents Starro the Conqueror Set (the first paert of my present being Sleep Mode Convoy).

I got this because one of the first comics I ever bought or read was an issue of JLA where Starro spores took over various super heroes. Much bigger than i thought, the box is freakin' huge, and the outer packaging is gorgeous. Love the Kevin Conroy voice chip in it that introduces the set and each member of the JLA.

My Ghostbusters 12" Winston Zeddemore arrived! Had to pay customs which sucked, but I now have all four Ghostbusters in the 12" scale. Don't really think i need any alternate costumes so i'm complete.
Now need to work out a way to display them...

Picked up;

3x Kfz 251/1 Halftracks for my Hitlerjugend!
3x Kfz 10/5 2cm Anti-Aircraft Half Tracks for the Toger Company attached to my Hitlerjugend!
1x Sherman M4A1 (just to round out the 1200pt force I never got around to finishing when I started collecting - have finally got a full compliment for pushing through Normandy...)
2x Cromwell Platoon boxes - two lots of 4x Cromwell tanks, each with a Sherman Firefly to keep those pesky German 'Big-Cats' at bay. Been meaning to put together some Brits for a while - couldn't resist two boxes of Armour at almost half price!

Rounded it out with some paints as well... that'll keep me busy this week - will post photo's when they're finished!

Nah... he has neither tentacles, a shell or a Goldfish bowl on his noggin...


Needed to get some Varnish (accidentally enamel varnished all the F.O.W. stuff I bought last week... took 3 days to dry and they're shiny... sigh...) so I picked up;

1x M10 3cm Tank-Destroyer Platoon (2 M10's, a couple of Carbine Infantry Squads, an M20 Utility Vehicle and a couple of Jeeps)
2x Challenger tanks!
