RE: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Found HA Whirl, Drag Strip, half Track and Tailpipe for 4.99 each in Home Bargains in Southend last night.

They have them on their website too as a set of 4

RE: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Thanks to finding Topspin, Jetfire, Lockdown, Thundercracker and Super Megatron, my Bot Shot count up to 22. Strange how much more excited I am about these guys than the actual mainline product out right now, but oh well.

RE: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Picked up Prime Knockout since I have had no luck finding Vehicons. Okay figure but unforgivably small for the price, although the tiny car mode is appealing to me for some reason. Should have some more stuff arriving this week, though I'll say no more right now...

RE: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Received the first of two packages I've been waiting for, this one containing DOTM Armour Topspin and Air Raid bought from The Entertainer. Topspin is just a redeco, but a good one, whilst Air Raid Makes me weep for the Pre-Prime sized deluxes, DOTM wasn't the greatest toyline, but they still had a heft to them that the Prime toys sadly lack, and Air Raid served to remind me of that.
Getting more and more impatient about the second parcel, but Coming from America I don't know exactly when it will appear.

Picked up the Bot Shots Matrix Battle set. Essentially only cost me £4.95, as I'd used some vouchers given as a form of appology from John Lewis.

360 MiniCons and counting.

RE: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
So today was what you might call a good day. Woke up nice and late, had shower, decided to check letterbox for any notes from parcel force demanding customs money. Instead I find that Fall of Cybertron has been delivered a day early. Very happy about this, decided I'd have some lunch then crack it open, and do so. Part way through the tutorial I am distracted by a huge box being delivered, miraculously it had dodged customs and now I was faced with the terrible choice of either playing Fall of Cybertron or cracking open SDCC Fall of Cybertron Bruticus. Honestly, the things we put up with as TF fans.

Verdicts? Both are fantastic. Fall of Cybertron has a far more immersive (and I'd go as far as to say emotional) story than war did, and whilst I have not yet played online, the time I spent on the demo indicated that it is extremely addictive.

The SDCC combaticons feel different to previous Generations figures, but I wouldn't say worse; I like them very much. And their box is feckin' enormous.

RE: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Picked up some new Bot Shots.

Got Wave 3;
Lockdown
Topspin
Jetfire
Thundercracker
Super-Bot Megatron

Megatron was hidden behind some Doctor Who discounted figures and my Thundercracker doesn't want to have his feet clipped in properly, but as I don't "play" with them, it's no biggie for me.

360 MiniCons and counting.

RE: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
And we return to Allosaur and Phill's bot shots thread. Can't remember where I got to last time, but I'm now up to 27, including most of wave four (no super Optimus unfortunately) and launcher Ironhide. Haven't picked up the new multipacks yet, but no doubt will eventually. Also can't wait for Roadbuster so I'll finally have an in scale wreckers trio, all weaponized.
