Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
RTS Windcharger, Jazz, and Battle in space set.
Windcharger is a solid feeling little scout with a cool vehicle mode, better than I was expecting. Jazz is great, my only issue is the chest not really locking in place, but he looks fantastic in both modes. Battle in space is a mixed blessing, it is a great set, but neither figure really fits into the classics/universe/generations/RTS aesthetic, although as a pair they look great. Rodimus is a little loose, and the backpack doesn't lock in place, but this is my first copy of this mould and I like the engineering more than I thought I would. I was one of the lucky ones in that I managed to find the original universe Cyclonus, and I kinda prefer its colourscheme, th e Cyclonus in this set is neat too, but I got the set mostly for Rodimus. |

I got him today too and I really like him, I thought his transformation was a little fiddly for the back of the car mode but really solid. Anyone else think he looks like he could be a modern version of HFTD Hubcap? I get that feeling from him  Mint In Box Toy Reviews |

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Generations Scourge - who is cool, but i'm a little disappointing they didn't make a shade taller to be nearer Cyclonus' height, and also make the arms less sticky-outey. Considering they designed a whole new alt mode for him, I don't think tweaking the physical aspects would have been too hard!

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Half of a pile of stuff from ToyzAndGamez, Generations Red Alert, Skullgrin, Blurr, Dirge, and Device Label Trypticon.
All good figures, even though the Generations ones are all retools of figures I already had. Trypticon is really nice, the plastic feels different but not low quality. My only complaints would be the size of his mouse mode and the painted areas that I'm worried will get worn with use, but at the sale price he was at I'd say he's worth it. I needed a mouse anyway, I've gotten fed up of the touchpad on my laptop. Just waiting for the rest of the order now, Generations Soundwave, Kup and Scourge. |

Hasbro Reissue Seacons!
Got to love these guys, so impressed! I only had Nautilator and Tentakil since I was a kid. I think that Snaptrap might become my new deskmate! Fact: Brawn isn't dead he's just been stamping on scalpers. |

Brawn Wrote:Hasbro Reissue Seacons! Awesome work Brawny. The Seacons are a terrific combiner. I think they're all cracking little toys, but Snaptrap is awesome personified. minion Wrote:Brawn Wrote:Hasbro Reissue Seacons! I havent enjoyed a TF like the seacons in ages, they make every other combiner I have feel flimsy, I put him on my shelf and Superion toppled over with fear. Oh and new arrival SDCC Blaster!!! Haven't opened him yet, but I can see a Blaster + Minions vs Seacons set up coming soon. Fact: Brawn isn't dead he's just been stamping on scalpers. |

Generations WFC Bumblebee.
Think he's really good fun in both modes. The robot is pretty poseable, and I like the inclusion of a hand pistol. The car mode is super chubby too which is how Bumbles should be.
