Transformers gift for 3 year old Nephew

As per the title..
Nephew is 3 and I'd like to get him a transformers toy that is both cool, but also safe at least a bit robust...

Given my ignorance of anything in the new lines is there anything people can recommend?

Budget around a tenner..
Online or supermarkets really from the shops we have here! (or entertainer, although I did check there and wasnt overly impressed!)

Some of the Early Learning Centres have the Rescue Bots in. Not sure of the price, but they're aimed for 3 to 5 year olds.

Got my 2 1/2 year old nephew, Rescue Prime for Xmas. He was more interested in his sisters pink Barbie car, but the idea was there. I have Bumblebee and Axel Frazier and think they're ace.
