'Streaker's Secrets of the Third Reich Figures
Mentioned these bad boys around Christmas, and realised I'd not uploaded any of my photo's!

Was really pleased with how they came out (I have process photo's for anyone who's THAT interested...) considering that these were the first 28mm figs I'd done since I left GW!

Hope you enjoy!

I wasn't that sure about the quality of the figures... so before I splashed out and bought an army, I picked up a blister of Nazi Zombies... these are they!

Re: 'Streaker's Secrets of the Third Reich Figures
Secrets of the Third Reich is a 28mm miniature game set in an alternate history of the Second World War, where the Nazi's experiment with the supernatural (successfully!), the Russians got nuked, and the Americans used Roswell-tech to create Supersoldiers. I'm a stickler for details, and I wanted my Alternate Nazi's to represent an alternate version of my Flames of War 5mm 12th Waffen SS HitlerJugend.

You'll note that I didn't paint my Nazi-Zombies in Waffen uniforms - I figured that the HJ wouldn't tolerate it's own elite troops to be contaminated with the Zombie-Virus, however, inferior supporting troops would be fair game! I painted my Zombies to match the 352. Festungskompaniegrenadiers that were stationed nearby to the 12th during D-Day, and who were used as a shield to hold the allied troops in place whilst the armour of the Waffen could be moved to counterattack. Meatshield in life, meatshield in death...

352nd officer in trenchcoat. Very dead. You can note the white infantry Waffenfarbe - that is the piping around the epaulettes. German waffenfarbe was colour-coded to discern branch of service.

Another 352nd Zombie. He has white squad-leader markings on his left arm.

And a 352nd motorcycle driver!

Re: 'Streaker's Secrets of the Third Reich Figures
Confident in the sculpts (and the optional head system - most packs come with a choice of heads to mix and match) I bought my minimum HQ and troop choice;

Command Squad

Troop choice - Split into fireteam 'A' with Officer...

...And fireteam 'B' with Squad Leader

Another shot of 'B' Squad. A better shot of the face and mask sculpts.

Can't go wrong with some Nazi werewolves and zombies. This game has always appealed, but I don't have the spare time to paint any at the moment.

Re: 'Streaker's Secrets of the Third Reich Figures
All my painting stuff is packed as well. Played a quick one-off game, and it seemed servicable... only problem being no one else in the area playing... not to big a concern - I only really fancied having a go at 28mm again, and would rather set fire to my Joes than give any more money to Workshop...

More to post - will do so in a bit!

Here's my 'Lieutenant' or HQ senior Officer,Sturmbannführer Hans Waldmüller. Note the Anti-Zombie-gas gas-mask. He's sporting Feld Grau trousers with his Jack-boots, and the smock is in Italian Camoflage pattern, as the 12th SS were newly outfitted after the fall of Italy with confiscated Italian materials. The Italian dress uniform was seen as a badge of honour for high ranking members of the Jugend. The Body Armour is coloured Dunkelgelb, in the same manner as German guns and armour straight off of the production line. I was tempted to add armour pattern camo... but figured it would be a little too busy on the 28mm models. I did however add the 'Hitlerjugend' armband.

Comms Oberscharführer. Not given him a name yet... Same uniform and patterning as the boss! You can more clearly see the collar of his Feld Grau jacket under his Italian camo smock.

MEDIC! Unlike my Commander, the Medic has a rauchtarnmuster smock - or blurred edge camo - It's similar to the Waffen Summer Oak leaf pattern, but the edges of the folaige were 'smoked' with black shades - and italian camo trousers. He's topped off with the M43 feldmütze - or feld grau cap.

The Command Scharführer - Sergeant attached to the Commander. Same camo scheme as the medic, but you can make out the eagle on the left shoulder above the 'Hitlerjugend' arm band.

Gasmasked SS. Panzergrenadier. Rauchtarnmuster smock and cover on the stahlhelm. Italian trouser.

Another SS. Panzergrenadier with rauchtarnmuster smock, and italian pattern trousers. Note the slightly squiffy swastika on the stahlhelm. You can also make out the white waffenfarbe on the left shoulder.

Werewolf pack!

Doberman breed Werewolf - only high ranking officers are allowed the 'gift' of Lycanthropy, and as such I gave this chap the much sought after Italian camo trousers!

Ah! This guy is a 'Pinger'! He straps a bell and a remote control onto a Zombie in 'Officer Uniform' and then 'Pings' it in the direction they want the horde to go! The Zombies recognise the rank and follow...

A massed Nazi Zombie Horde!

The Horde masses!

The Zombie in the front with the dynamite around his neck is a 'Zombie-Bomb'... genius... Dead-one on the far right is my 'Zombie-Officer'... you can tell because of the large radio antena on his back...

More Zombies!

Re: 'Streaker's Secrets of the Third Reich Figures
How far down the path do they go? Is it just Zombies and Werewolves or can you add Minotaurs and Golems and such?
