Re: SNOWDAY!
Well despite things looking good today, and getting into work early, I'm now stuck here.
The only bus company which runs through my hometown has cancelled all buses until urther notice. So right now I'm stuck at work. Phill 360 MiniCons and counting. Click the pic to visit my site. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. |

Phill Wrote:So right now I'm stuck at work. well that sucks...... will they not fund a taxi for you to get home? The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done. |

Re: SNOWDAY!
After 5 and half hours of trying to find a way home, my girlfriend and I finally got home.
We took the first train to the station nearest to us (They'd not been stopping there all day). Then we had to walk a mile to meet my brother on the other side of a 4 foot high snow-drift. When we finally got home, we were greeted with about another foot of fresh snow on top of the stuff which has frozen over. 360 MiniCons and counting. Click the pic to visit my site. All joking aside, it's good to know you're back safe Phill.
Not going in tomorrow I hope? |

Re: SNOWDAY!
My boss is expecting me to be in, but I feel pretty lusy right now. I think if I'd not been able to keep dry I'd be on the cusp of hypothermia right now.
I'll see how I feel and what the traffic and weather reports say before making my decision. 360 MiniCons and counting. Click the pic to visit my site. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. |

Re: SNOWDAY!
I had an exam tomorro that's been cancelled. A bit immature to be happy about something like that but I need whatever good news I can get out of this. Asides from that I'm getting pretty fed up. Anyone who watched the news tonight saw how badly central Scotland has been hit.

Re: SNOWDAY!
Had like, 2 days off school last week due to snow. So I got to miss some exams
For the last 2 days I've woken up to a world white with frost and I swear it's got to be as cold if not colder that when it was snowing. Unfortunetly no snow so I've still got to do that German writing task tommorow. |
