Re: 'Streakers GI Joe collection - PICS!
With my Silver Ceremony Cobra Commander, the GI Joe Club have been experimenting with a new type of basing system... looks pretty nifty actually. I really like the 25th style bases, so I doubt I'll get many more, but there are a few figs in the collection - particularly from vehicles exclusive to WalMart and Target - that didn't come with any sort of stand, and the 'old-skool' bases have pegs that are just a wee bit too chubby...
Here's the Stand on it's own... With the Epcot Centre as a backdrop... ...and with a woman with chubby legs... |

Re: 'Streakers GI Joe collection - PICS!
All four of these came with the Cobra Commander - apparently each was available on a different day...
Epcot by night... Walt and Mickey... You'll notice that the cards haven't been pegged in properly. I din't fancy damaging them, and the clip system will bend anything put inside it... |

Re: 'Streakers GI Joe collection - PICS!
Some examples of the base with figures on... Here's the base without the top stem, and with the Internet exclusive Arctic Mission Scrap Iron on. It does pinch the file card somewhat. ... and with the top stem. Two figures, two filecards - in this instance Scrap Iron, and the Internet Exclusive Desert pack Major Bludd. |

Re: 'Streakers GI Joe collection - PICS!
I'm digging those new bases
almost make me wish I hadn't dropped £80 on marauder inc ones, but they're damn good too lmk if you want a link as they have 2 pegs for modern and vintage The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done. |
