TFCon have announced the dates of their main show (in Toronto) for 2016
Save the dates! TFcon Toronto – The world’s largest fan-run Transformers convention will take place July 15th to 17th, 2016. TFcon Toronto will return to the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale hotel. Discounted hotel block information and dealer bookings will be available in the near future. We hope you can join us for what is going to be another amazing event.
The teaser picture is of Megatron leading to speculation that they may be trying to get Frank Welker (if their budget can cover the huge cost) and / or David Kaye. Of cause it may also just be a place holder, so we'd rather not speculate.

TFCon, the worlds largest fan run Transformers convention, based in Canada, have annouced that not only will the event in Toronto happen in July but they will be crossing the board to the USA to have their first US convention in August located in Chicago.
Save the dates! TFcon – The world’s largest fan-run Transformers convention is travelling to America the weekend of October 24th to 26th, 2014. TFcon USA will take place at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Transformers. Discounted hotel block information will be available shortly. Dealer bookings and registration information will also be available in the near future. We hope you can join us for this historic event.
This is a very interesting development, not only is it a potential challenger to BotCon's US domination of the Transformers calendar but what will the knock-on effect be for the Canadian event, which often has Hasbro Canada's involvement. Will Big Brother Hasbro USA clamp down on this un-licensed show?

WikiAlpha has been updated with images and information on Shafter, the TFCon IGear Erector inspired Not-Huffer repaint.
When his teammates need something special built, they call SHAFTER. After a stunning defeat and exile from the Savage Land, SHAFTER was determined to redeem himself. Called on by Stronghold to completely redesign all fortifications after the breakout of Toxin and his companions, SHAFTER is hard at work making sure every possible hole is plugged tight. His small size allows him to access many areas others can’t, but belies a strength that allows him to accomplish even the hardest jobs. SHAFTER’s mastery of civil engineering allows him to construct a solution from the ground up, drawing inspiration from the monuments of his home world and the wonders he’s found on Earth. SHAFTER’s abilities at design aren’t just limited to blueprints, either, and his cunning strategies have turned defeat into victory numerous times. Even with all his defensive skills, SHAFTER is no stranger to the front lines. SHAFTER is durable enough for the most toughest jobsite, and can shrug off enemy fire while “giving as good as he gets” with his powerful hydraulic arms or his induction rivet-guns. SHAFTER intends to make sure that the next enemy spy looking for trouble finds a lot more than they bargain for, and to prove once and for all that great things can come from small packages.

During TFCon it was announced that, third party toy maker, TFC would be making a large scale Predacon set, well it turns out that this information was incorrect. JustIToys have posted an image and two comments on their Facebook page that confirm that the image that was shown is actually of a JustIToys project and not a TFC project. JustIToys, pronounced "Just Love Toys", are best known for making the non-official Words Smallest Transformers figures. This set, however, has been confirmed as being a large scale set. Here's what they had to say:
"tfcon made a mistake, it is our project, not TFC project, they messed up." and "Large scale, it's a combiner, but we don't want to use the names.."
