Thanks to a post on 78dm.net we can now share the first look at three of the Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Power Attackers (AKA Power Battlers) figures. The toys shown are Bumblebee, Hound (using his placeholder name of Duke) and Swoop (AKA Strafe under his alias of Paulie).  The toys confirm that Swoop / Strafe will have two heads in his animal form therefore suggesting that the "Dinobots" will be more like cybertronian beasts than based on Earth Dinosaurs. The news title is a little odd, but the item in question looks really nice.  The foke at TFG2 have posted up some images of what they say is a toy based on the Transformers Fall of Cybertron Swoop design which transforms into a cassette which will fit inside Transformers Masterpiece Soundwave.

Play.com, as they've made their Fall of Cybertron preorders live for both X-Box 360 and PS3. If you preorder from Play.com now, you will get an exclusive Dinobot unlock in the form of Swoop! No word just yet if the Dinobot will be available as a preorder bonus for a store such as Best Buy. Will the remaining Dinbots be revealed as playable characters?

David White, MechaZone.com, has produced some concept art for Transformers War For Cybertron 2, which has been leaked out onto HK-Tf.Com.  The concept art features the following characters, all of which you can view below.

Entertainment Earth has posted official images of the Dinobot Minicons, recolours of Knockdown, Terrorsaur, Swoop and Snarl.

The new figures will be Grimlock, Swoop and Snarl (as Hasbro won't use the name Slag), and hopefully they will name the tiger Catilla, on whom the colour scheme seems to be based.  Another throught is that this will be Grimlock, Swoop, Slag (Triceratops) and Snarl (Cat)

Transformers Animated.com, the internet's first Transformers Animated website, has been updated with three new galleries provided by members of the site. The new galleries include Transformers Animated Activators Starscream, Deluxe Sentinel Prime and Deluxe Swoop.

Due to the recent server problems we missed reporting this news on Saturday.

Oddsey posted the following sighting on our message board of Transformers Animated Wave 3 Sentinal Prime and Swoop being in stock at Sainsbury

"Just picked up Swoop/Sentinel for £4.99 each from a Sainsbury's in Nottingham.(Castle Boulevard store)
I think this is the first sighting of that wave so far, so you may want to wait before trying your local store. Give it two or three weeks just to be on the safe side.

Be aware that some stores also do not stock toys, or may have only a small range that does not include Transformers.

The first video, which is actually the third clip we have for you, from Transformers Animated Episode 12, Survival of the Fittest, is now available on Transformers Animated.com and Transformers At The Moon.

This video clip is at the end of the episode when the Dinobots, Grimlock, Snarl and Swoop transform. You can also see the Decepticon Pretenders, Bombburst and Submarauder's guest appearances, though remember they are actually just mutated humans.

You will now find a full image gallery from Transformers Animated episode 12, Survival of the Fittest, on-line at Transformers Animated .com The episode features the return of the super-villain Meltdown as well as the Dinobots, Grimlock, Snarl and Swoop.

Heya, gang! Here's some earlier concepts, out of a batch, I did for the new Transformers Animated. Basically I was brought onto the project to show some new organic shapes for the classic robots, Dinobots, and others.

I tell ya.... robots are tough as heck to draw. The technicality of things was pretty difficult. It was fun, but very challenging none the less.

My goal was to make them feel as if they had some Japanese aspects in them. For Sludge, I wasn't sure if 4 arms would work on him, but I figured what the heck, ya know? For Swoop I wanted to make him more ninja-esque.... Grimlock more Samurai-esque, and finally Snarl as more of a bruiser or a grunt from the bunch.

The big three US Transformers sites, Seibertron.com, TFWorld2005.com and TheAllspark.com all have images posted by S250 (some mirrored from each other) of some previously unseen Character art from Transformers Animated.
