I thought I would take a few minutes to remind you all about two comic related things that are happening at the moment. First up on Thursday 24th March 2011 Death's Head will return in the pages of Marvel Heroes issue 33 that will be available from all good stockists, and plenty of bad ones. So make sure to pick it up and show Marvel that not only do you want to see Death's Head return in comic format, but also to support the work put in by the two Simon's, Simon Furman and Simon Williams for making his return possible.
Secondly do not forget to drop by HomelandSecuityTheater.com for more web comic hilarity from the one and only Bill "he really does look like Monkeywrench" Forster. If you have been lucky enough to sit down and talk to Bill then you know that he has seen a lot in his life so far, and now he is sharing part of his life as the basis of his own web comic which is updated three times a week.

Yesterday it was announced that Disney have purchased Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion. What does this have to do with Transformers, you may ask. Well both companies already have deals with Hasbro or Takara for cross branded figures. It may also affect the direction of the next cartoon series of Transformers by throwing a spanner in the works of Hasbro Inc.'s joint venture with Discovery Communications to create a TV network. According to Wells Fargo analyst Tim Conder, Hasbro recently extended its contract with Marvel until 2017. &quto; We do not view this transaction as having any material negative implications from this perspective," he wrote. The Associate Press speculate that the decision might affect Hasbro and Discovery's TV network joint venture, since it makes it less likely the network will offer shows centered around Marvel characters.
Now, "it is highly likely that Disney will want to retain Marvel-related programming content for its own channels of distribution," Conder noted.
He kept his "Outperform" rating on the Pawtucket, R.I., company's stock. Shares of Hasbro fell 12 cents to $28.21 during morning trading.

We've made some modifications to our Transformers In The Media section, to try and makes things a little easier to find. We've now broken down our Transformers Comic section into three distinct areas.
- Transformers Comic Covers - Cover scans of the Transformers comics
- Transformers Comic Reviews - Reviews of the Transformers comics
- Transformers Comic Images - All other images from Transformers comics (inc. press releases)
So if you're after Transformers Comic covers then go to that section, if you're after any other images from Transformers comics, examle artwork, advertising, promotional material, then look in the Transformers Comic Images area. If you'd like to see a review of a Transformers comic then go to the Transformers Comic Review area, it couldn't be more simple.

ComicNewsI has a "
teaser trailer" for the comic book cross-over between Marvel and IDW in their Avengers / Transformers Cross-Over. It's rather odd that a teaser video trailer be made for a comic, but I guess it's another indication of how "big" Transformers is at the moment.
