iGear toys have posted some new images of a black recolour of their Not-Huffer (Rager) figure as well as their upcoming Herbie figure. herbie is a recolour of a Not-Bumblebee based on the Disney character.
iGear toys have updated their Facebook page today with several new images of their upcoming products. The products shown were the Mini-figures of Rager (Huffer) and Spray (Seaspray) along with the PP05M Medical Specialist (Ratchet) figure. You can view the images below.
This afternoon a dozen auctions ended on Yahoo Japan Auctions for various testshots and samples of Generation One and Diaclone figures. The auctions ended in total for over $7,600 (£5,167)! The auctions were for:
We waited a few days before putting these image galleries online to allow the auctions that were on Yahoo Japan to end to try to help protected the bidders against shill bidding. Before anyone asks, no we did not win any of the auctions as we did not bid. The figures are will soon be in the hands of collectors so keep an eye out for newer images in the coming months, and some items may be sold on via eBay in the future.
For anyone interested in early samples, especially mock-up pieces, the Tracks mock-ups (more likely a Diaclone mock-up) are amazing pieces.
Toyz and Gamez have posted some listing for the upcoming Transformers Power Core Combiner figures, which includes the names of the upcoming figures. We all knew about Huffer and Caliburst but the larger robot that comes with Chopster (the figure that was recently shown) now has a name .... Smolder. Back on the 10th November we exclusively broke word that Hasbro had filed a trademark for POWER CORE COMBINERS. This news was slowly picked up by a few other websites but has since been forgotten by most. Well today was a key day as a post was made on 4Chan showing a packaging mock-up of Power Core Combiner Huffer with his Targetmaster companion Caliburst. Which you can view below.
