Fun Publications have posted the image of their latest Botcon 2014 figure to be revealed and it is Scorponok! The toy is a recolour of the Energon Scorponok, decoed up to look like the Generation One figure but with sa special suprise in the form of a brand new Headmaster head! That's right the head is Olin Zarak who is made from the Encore Spike figure that was, of course, released with Fortress Maximus in Japan but with a new face plate to look like Scorponok. As big fans of G1 Scorponok this toy is now a must buy for us as the colour scheme alone makes it an awesome homage but the new head just finishes it off.

FansProject have posted some teaser images of their upcoming Function X project which is really a third party Headmaster release. The figures featured within the preview images are Chromedome, Brainstorm, Mindwipe, Minerva, Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher but repainted as Optimus Prime from the Generation One episiode "City of Steel". Does this mean that there will also be an "Arcee" repaint of Chromedome? Time will tell.
Jim Sorenson has updated his blog with a new entry for The Ark Addendum titled Fortress' (Cerebros') Transform. As you can guess from the name, the entry covers the transformation sequence for Fortress, or Cerebros as he was known within the West, from robot into his head mode.
Earlier this week Jim Sorenson posted a brand new Ark Addendum over onto his blog. The new article was regarding the transformation sequence for the Headmaster triple changer Apeface. You can view the entry here along with the character model, but below you will find the post which Jim made.
"Hola, amigos! I know it's been a long time since I rapped at you, but I've been HELLA busy with my move to Albuquerque. I love my new home, but between closing the deal and repairing all the minor things wrong with it and unpacking and furnishing it, it's sucked up just about all of my time.
Anyway, it's been a couple of weeks, but I should be back on track for a while as life calms down. So, checking on Martin's tally of my missing model sheets, I come to... APEFACE!
Full disclosure: I don't have the model sheet of his transformation to jet mode. I dunno why, I just don't. I do have both sets for Snapdragon, so look for that soon.
My main memory of Apeface is trying to hunt down a spare gun for him. You see, you can snap his gun into either side of his jet mode, but that seemed awkward to me, so I went ahead and got an extra. The gun isn't perfectly symmetrical, so that doesn't work 100% either, but it was neat at the time. He never got a lot of screen time, but in the Underbase arc he used his own arm to bludgeon another Decepticon into pulp. You gotta love that!"
Optibotimus has uploaded his latest video review which is none other than the upcoming Headrobots Centurion upgrade kit for G1 Fortress Maximus.
KOToys.com recently announced that a Knock-Off Weirdwolf will be released before the end of the year. The figure will also be released at the same time as another knock-off set of knock-off Headmaster heads. Both toys followup from the release of Abominus who will be released at any time.
You can view all of the images of this figure here and we suggest comparing them to the original toy so you can tell the difference. You can also find a selection of images below.
For those not keeping up with the knock-off releases the recently released fake Japanese Dinosaur cassettes are already being sold on Yahoo Japan as the originals for high prices which is a trend that is expected to continue over the coming months as well as spreading to western auction sites such as eBay
Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with a brand new The Ark Addendum titled Weirdwolfs Transform. The entry focuses on the extended transformation sequence for Weirdwolf.

In
this panel: United Stepper (the new exclusive targetmaster toy), United
Sergeant Kup and... Headmasters Chromedome & Highbrow "old marvel"

Jim Sorenson has updated his blog the Disciples of Boltax with his latest Ark Addendum update. This weeks update is called "Brainstorm's Tranformation sequence" and can be found here.
Jim describes the entry as "And what is normal, for me, if not character models? This time, I bring
you another Ark Addendum transformation sequence. This is for
Headmasters Brainstorm. While there are really only two intermediate
steps in this transform, the second one (step 3 of 4) is pretty action
packed. Hope you enjoy! "
Jim Sorenson has updated his blog with another Ark Addendum, this time entitled Crosshairs, TRANSFORM!
The entry focuses on the transformation sequence of Autobot Targetmaster Crosshairs and his targetmaster partner Pinpointer (Pointech in Japan). Here's Jim to tell you a little about it.
"Today I'm feeling like getting away from the Sunbow cartoon and dancing
over to Japan. We haven't done a Transform sequence in a while, so how
about... Crosshairs!
One thing that's a bit odd about the sequence is how we see his
Targetmaster fly away from him in the second step... but then Pinpointer
(or Pointech, if you're feeling the Japanese love) isn't on the model
in step one. Whoops! Anyway, enjoy!
"
