have updated their website with some new images of upcoming TakaraTomy
Transformers: Darkside Moon toys. The
images include DA3-4 Leadfoot, DA-28 Striker Optimus Prime, DA-31 Autobot Que,
DD-09 Soundwave and Mr.Cruel, DD-13 Soundwave, and CV-26 Soundwave.
The images are in a very low resolutions but can be foudn on their early bird page.

FanToFan.jp attented the Tokyo Toy Show which just took place in Japan and have posted some information on the forthupcoming
Transformers Alternity line in Japan and in particular on the new Nissan GT-R Convoy figure
Transformers
Alternity: a new line, or more of a spinoff from Binaltech but at the
sametime includes some of the auto-transform gimmicks from the TF movie
toyline, will kickoff end of the year, the first one to be relese would
be NISSAN GT-R Convoy, only prototype is currently shown, although
price is set at 4725 JPYen, the date of release is not been determined
yet. 2 color versions have been planned, Ultimate Metal Silver and
Vibrant Red. Once the release has been confirmed, we will initiate the
preorder.

Fan2Fan has posted images of three Transformers Henkei figures, Powerglide, Silverbolt and Onslaught showing that the figures will be recoloured for their Japanese release. The most different colour scheme going to Powerglide who will be mainly red rather than white like the western release. Click the following link to view the pictures on Fan2Fan website.

Fan2Fan have posted some information and images from the Winter Wonderfest which took place today in Japan. On display were the Transformers Henkei figures, Trans-Scanning Optimus Prime, Encore Jazz as well as Music Label Generation One coloured Optimus Prime. The convention exclusive was the Generation One coloured Transformers Movie Arcee figure

Fan2Fan are reporting on a 2-day toy forum for retailer which just took place in Japan. At the event TakaraTomy were displaying many of the figures that will be released in Japan over the next 6 months. They included the Transformers Classics (HenKei "Transform!") series where Astrotrain and Hot Rodimus (Rodimus) were shown off. They are out in April and June respectively. Fan2Fan also report that Starscream and Grimlock will feature chrome parts. Encore figures 9 and 10 were also announced, Encore 9 will be a minibot set, released in May, with Encore 10 being a reissue of Omega Supreme. Like Skylynx, he will be a special release and is due for June. Also shown were MA-21 Optimus Prime Battle mode, with show accurate head and sword arm, MA-22 Bumblebee battle mode, new head sculpt, TS-01 Optimus Prime (Trans-Scanning), TS-02 Bumblebee and the movie screen battle packs

Fan2Fan have a nice gallery from the recent Japanese Winter Wonder Festival 2007 which you can view
here. The images include Masterpiece Megatron, the e-Hobby KissPlay cassettes, the KissPlay Sparkbots (the recoloured EggBots / EggBeasts), the Atari-scream figure as well as the Beast Wars re-isssues and some custom toys. You can also view
an image of the Wonderfest exclusive BT-17 Black Convoy, the Binaltech version of the Nemesis Prime toy.

Fan2Fan have published some images from the latest Hyper Hobby magazine which shows Masterpiece Megatron being held in robot form by the vice president of Takara-Tomy. They also have another image which shows Megatron being held in
gun mode, from various angles, as well as showing the LED "laser sight" gimmick. All of the images are of the unpainted prototype still.
