Let the rumour mill start running riot again as when asked if Tigertrack was the e-Hobby announcement he teased Hydra has replied "Paul nope! Tigertrack is a great character choice though!". So if Tigertrack is not the announcement what will it be?
Yesterday we tweeted regarding the upcoming e-Hobby announcement which Andrew Hall AKA Hydra teased the world with recently (well he said that there was going to be an announcement) that it could be a recolour of either Fortress Maximus (unlikely due to the size, but with their deal with Fun Publications the distribution network would be large enough) or a Masterpiece Tigertrack. Well the latter may well be looking more likely after Big Bad Toy Store posted a listing for a limited edition Masterpiece Tigertrack numbered MP-12T with a July 2013 release. Tiger Track was a Figure King mailaway exclusive figure back during the Collections Edition releases in Japan. You can view our gallery of the original toy here.
This is still a rumour at this stage but some Asian stores have been placing listings for a 6,000yen (£42 / $68) figure recently something is certainly looking possible.
We expect this to be confirmed in the next week.
e-Hobby have updated their product listings with some new, clear, official stock images of the upcoming Takara-Tomy Transformers Generations TG-19 Grimlock and TG-20 Ratbat figures. As expected from Japanese releases, the toys have metallic paint with Grimlock also having a a more accurate red abdomen where as Ratbat has been given a new head which appears inspired by the IDW Comics Senator Ratbat which was first "leaked" via the instruction sheet which came with Transformers Generations Scourge. The head will no doubt be reused for future recolours and we could image that these may include some of the Brestmasters. You can view the images below.
