In a follow-up to the news we broke last weekend regarding the new Spring / Summer Argos Catalogue, I thought I'd let you know what a trip to our local Argos store found out about the figures currently in stock.
The 25th Anniversary Deluxe toys come up as Universe deluxe, with one in stock. That one was Ironhide.
The Voayger figures come up as four in stock, but when I asked for a viewing I was told they only have one figure in the back. That was Decepticon Dropshot.
Leader class Megatron is not in stock yet so it is the Shadow Blade version of the toy.
The Animated deluxe toys only came up as one available and that was Oil slick.
Obviously things may vary amoungst Argos stores, but it will give you an idea of what is currently in.
Last Maximal of Cybertron Philippines has posted a small image, taken on his mobile phone, of a red Dropkick recoloured toy, as an Autobot, from a catelogue on Imageshack here.
Information posted on The Allspark points out ".. an unnamed red Autobot recolor of
TFTM Dropkick. no huge Autobot logo in vehicle mode, just red all over
with a silver grille, with an Autobot logo and some text on the
driver's side door [and likely the passenger side's door as well]."

To help celebrate the festive season, we've updated our Transformers toy image gallery with a few new additions, mainly the items we were given for Christmas, but also a few other random bits.
The gallery for Transformers Collectors Club Exclusive Terradive currently does not feature any vehicle mode photographs, as I forgot to transform the toy.
The four Knock-Off Transformers, from Korea, are based on the European / Japanese exclusive toys from the end of Generation One. The packaging for the toys will be added later.
These updates take us closer still to the 2,000 mark when counting the number of Transformers toys featured with out Transformers toy image gallery area, now consisting of 1,988 Transformers toys, 1,871 galleries with 3,620 Transformers toys entered into the database (we know we are missing some of the later items).
The update included just under 300 new photographs.
Thanks to Oddset for reporting here on our message board, that Transformers Movie Dropkick, Payload and Recon Barricade are now in stock at The Entertainer.
You can find your nearest Entertainer store using our Store Locator search at the top of every page.
UK online dealer, Toyz and Gamez, has reported to TFW2005 that the recoloured Transformers Movie Barricade toy known as Recon Barricade will only be available within the UK via one retail store. Toyz And Gamez does not mention the name of the store, though we expect it to be announced as The Entertainer, as Argos will not be stocking much in the way of new products for a little while, Woolworths, in many towns, have already dropped the Transformers line and Toys R Us is shelf warming happily at the moment, with limited distributions of the just released Longarm and Final Battle Jazz. Toyz and Gamez does go on to say that the next wave of toys will include Dropkick and Payload
