Argos have created a listing for the Bumblebee Greatest Hit Cassette Pack which comes with Soundwave & Doombox along with the "Music FX" Bumblebee. You can view the listing on the Argos website

Thanks to Kathy Applebaum there is now a first look Bumblebee in his original Volkswagen Beetle vehicle mode on the set of the Transformers: Bumblebee movie. You can view the image on her Instagram account. Bumblebee's retro form was officially announced by Paramount along with John Cena appearing within a lead role in the movie.

We have found some new Transformers related trademarks filed with the USPTO by Hasbro Inc. The trademarks are:

The first recolour of the Masterpiece Bumblebee has been announced and it is not the expected Cliffjumper remould but instead is a metallic gold repaint based on the Generation 2 figure.  The figure comes with a facemask to mimic the original toy.  You can view the preview image below.

The good news continues for Masterpiece fans as MP-21 Bumblebee has now been released in Japan and Asian with various listings available on eBay including delivery to the UK for £45.  If you are looking to get the figure in time for Christmas then you should think about ordering one very soon.

Two more clips from Transformers Robots in Disguise have been posted onto You Tube.  Both show the pretty slick animation style, and decent writing .. just a shame the Decepeticons are animal-robot hybrids

The San Diego Comic Con resulted in a first look at the toys for hte 2014-2015 Transformers cartoon Transformers Robots in Disguise (not to be confussed with the US release of the 2000 Transformers series Transformers Car Robots / Transformers: Robots in Disguise.

The toys have nicely sculpted faceds to match the show, but fairly simple forms.

Transformers: Age of Extinction concept designer, Robert Simons, has updated his website with his designs for Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Lockdown, and Lockdown's ship. You can view mirrors of the designs, which differ greatly from the final designs, below.

TakaraTomy have released official stock images of their upcoming MP-21 Bumble (Bumblebee) figure. The toy is available for pre-order via Amazon Japan right now. You can view the images after the jump.

Takara designer Shogo Hasui has tweeted out some more images of the upcoming MP-21 Bumblebee figure. The images include a size comparison wirth MP-17 Prowl, confirming that Bumblebee will be half his size, a look at the read of the figure as well as a profile image of Spike's Exo-Suit. Hobby Search as well as TakaraTomy's own staff have posted a collection of images of the prototype for MP-21 Bumblebee with "exo-suit" Spike mini-figure.  You can view the images below.

Thanks to a post on 78dm.net we can now share the first look at three of the Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Power Attackers (AKA Power Battlers) figures. The toys shown are Bumblebee, Hound (using his placeholder name of Duke) and Swoop (AKA Strafe under his alias of Paulie).  The toys confirm that Swoop / Strafe will have two heads in his animal form therefore suggesting that the "Dinobots" will be more like cybertronian beasts than based on Earth Dinosaurs. General Motors have posted a video on You Tube covering General Motors Advance Design Center, featuring the design process of Transformers: Age Of Extinction Bumblebee; a Concept Chevrolet Camaro.

As promised, below you will find our video on showing you how to fix the quality control issue with the 30th Anniversary IDW inspired spotlight Bumblebee figure where the right shoulder joint has been assembled backwards and stops the figure from being able to transform into car mode.

We opened our 30th Anniversary "IDW Bumblebee" today to discover a quality control issue which we do not believe has been reported thus far.  The figure has been assembled with his right shoulder joint on backwards which means that the figure becomes impossible to transform.

The fix is really simple, just take off the back, remove the piece and turn it around, then put him back together again.  We are currently uploading a very short raw YouTube video to help highlight the issue which will be online soon.

Our recent Tranformers buying habit has not been great for QC, our MP Frenzy has two right hands, Jinbu had the normal QC issue, Bumblebee has this QC issue though none have been as bad as the state our Lazerback was in when we picked him up earlier in the year.
