Recently there was a listing found for a Rattrap Generations figure within the Wal*Mart computer system which led fans into believing that there is a Rattrap figure in the works, something the fan community was speculating about after James Roberts name-dropped the character when talking about the comic books. Well over last weekend at Roll Out Roll Call 2013 it was confirmed that designs have been produced for a Generations Rattrap figure as well as a possibly a fourth Beast Wars character. No details were given on who that additional character could be; it was more deduced from the wording that was used rather than being directly stated; though the Rattrap design is said to be based on original season one form, much like the comic art has shown, rather than the TransMetal figure. Whilst nothing was shown since the Generations Rhinox figure is turning out to be be very close to the concept design (which was shown), this should give everyone hope that the final Rattrap figure should also look close to his design which is said to be close to the animation model. It was mentioned at the show that the figure was to be revealed at NYCC though from the reports we have read online it appears that this wasn't the case.
No word on when the figure is expected to hit, but it is coming.

TakaraTomy have been tweeting out character models of Beast Convoy, Fire Convoy, Super Mode Convoy, Grand Convoy and Galaxy Convoy to promote the Fans Choice Masterpiece contest which is taking place. It seems, however, that some fans are incorrectly mistaking these character models for designs of Masterpiece figures of the characters. They are not. Most of the sheets clearly contain the date stamps and are also available within our Series Bible section of the website which contains various models sheets from Beast Wars and Beast Wars II as well as some Car Robot sheets. We own character models from G1 through to TF Animated so let us know if you would like to see more of these types of galleries.
The sheets which have been shared by TakaraTomy can be found after the jump

Rank: 7
Courage: 10

"It's not revenge I'm looking for. It's justice."
Magnificently sweeping through the darkness with regal silence, a hunter trails his prey. Defender, pursuer, and if need be, judge; DEPTH CHARGE acts swiftly and with unquestioning resolve. He holds tightly to a desire for justice, even if he despenses that justice himself.
After tracking down and incarcerating the murderous Protofom X, DEPTH CHARGE returned to a CYBERTRON torn apart by war. Aging masters forced the next generation of soldiers into battle, in the name of "The Cause". Death haunted every street. Injustice was abound. Depth Charge was tasked with a mission to hunt down two deserters from the MAXIMAL ranks who had dispatched their commanding officer, and consorted with the enemy in an attempt to use experimental transwarp drive technology to flee the planet. Retracing their steps with his own transwarp device, the MAXIMAL soon found their escape route. It was not to another planet, but to another Universe: one which the Transtech call home

Just to prove that there will be more Transformers coming out this year than we all saw at the US Toy Fair, ACToys.net have posted three images of a previously un-announced Transformers Generations Beast Wars Megatron which will be a recolour of the FoC Grimlock with a new head . Will this figure be a general release? an Asian exclusive? Could it be part of the Asian TV series which is in the works? Time will tell.

Two new trademark applications have been made by Hasbro, one for a cartoon series and another for a toyline. The name of this new thing is Beast Hunters!
Those with long memories will recognise this as the same name that was originally proposed for the series and line that became Beast Machines.
The toy trademark is the most interesting one, as it lists the category as a Class 28 (toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms.)

The team behind the Perfect Effect line of third party Transformers products, have posted an update on their blog that contains a teaser image of both Lio Convoy (Beast Wars II) and Big Convoy (Beast Wars Neo). Does this means that both of these characters will be seeing a 3rd party release? Most probably. If that happens, then you can expect to see black recolours based on their BWII and BWNeo recoloured figures as well as potentially a Flash and Galva-Leo Convoy version.
