Day 14 of our 17 day celebration of Transformers At The Moon looks at the year 2012. We move house and the added responsibilities, and change of work for Steve, takes away a lot of our time which we used to spend on the site.

- London hosts the 2012 Olympic and Paralympc games. We attend two events
- The UK ce;ebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth
- Austrian Felix Baumgartner becomes the first person to break the sound barrier without mechanical assistance when he jumps over New Mexico on October 14th.
- The US sees shootings at a screening of The Dark Kinight rises as well as Sandy Brook High (killing 38 people in total)
- The end of the world takes place and no-one notices, well the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar
- Liu Yang becomes China's first female astronaught
- Sally Ride, the first female in space, passes away aged 61
- Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, passes away aged 82
- Russia lifts a ban on British Beef after 26 years
- Vladamir Putin is voted in a president of Russia after formerly being Priminister
- Earth observes the Transit of Venus,
- Microsoft release Windows 8
- Instagram is released on Android
- Facebook goes public
The Avengers is released at the cinema and goes on to break a whole host of records

- Battle Beasts Return in Japan
- Fun Publications suffer a SQL Injection and customer’s card details are taken. The community goes mad but the company are backed and supported by Hasbro
- Later in the year the TFCC confirm there will no longer be a free figure
- Replacing the free figure will be a members only Figure Subscription Service, offering 6 figures a year
- Transformers Prime and Transformers Rescue Bots start in the UK
- Transformers 4 is confirmed for 2014
- More Masterpieces are announced throughout the year
- TakaraTomy work with both BAPE and Ice Candy Press (Gari Transformers)
- The Transformers community continues a split between the two large US sites and UK message board run by the most popular UK dealer
- Hasbro sign a multi-year deal with Netflix
- Auto Assembly Europe 2012 is cancelled and rescheduled for 2013
- Transformers The Ride opens in the US
- Chris Latta and Simon Furman are entered into the Transformers Hall of Fame
- Transformers YouTuber Peaugh uploads his 1000th video
- We are invited onto Collectors Hangout on Google Plus, our appearance results in their most viewed video as they become a Google featured broadcaster
- Transformers Encore Fortress Maximus is shown off
- Rumours start to fly around about a possible merger between Disney and Hasbro.
- On the 9th of November Mark Wahlberg is confirmed as appearing in Transformers 4
- Auto Assembly continues to grow setting another attendance record for the UK. The convention gains almost 200 more attendees than the previous year and moves to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel
- Roll Out Roll Call moves to a larger hotel in Southampton

- We launch our 9th version of the website with over 2,200 galleries, 400 trademarks, 600 instructions and lots of other exclusive content.
- We start posting our screen captures from our Transformers Beast Wars II DVD
- We move into Steve's new house and post pictures of our "Transformers museum" on Facebook, Google Plus and our site
