In a slight change to the Transformers toy gallery for Masterpiece Megatron, we have now created a new gallery for
Kremzeek, along with a new association of his character. This is because there are two Kremzeek toys available now on the Transformers brand, so we felt he should have his own character in our database. This now takes us to 1,750 toy galleries, although it does not contain any new images, so I'm not going to make a big deal out of this one.
I've also corrected the mold for the
European Exclusive Spittor toy as well as moved several images from the
UK Exclusive Transformers Action Master Rumbler to fellow
UK Exclusive Transformers Action Master Circuit (who's images where misplace during the website update).

Our post-BotCon 2007 push on our Transformers toy image galleries will start up again this week, with lots of new galleries planned for each day this week. One of the galleries with be of the sixth and final Japanese Headmaster figure, Lodoni, although I have a story to tell there.
As many of you will know, and you all will if you look in our Transformers Toy Gallery area, we own a vast collection of Transformers figures, currently standing at just under the 2,000 mark! The toys range from G1 to Movie figures, US, European and Japanese, Pre-Transformers, Unreleased items and of cause Lucky Draw Transformers. Well, what you may not realise is that although we've been really lucky to get lots of the toys we have, we've also had our share of bad luck, and that continued with Lodoni.
A few years back we bought a set of sealed Japanese cassettes. One of these came with two left missiles (which is a bit of a bugger really). We've had several mis-formed Transformers (2 Movie Blackouts, SCF figures etc), and the trend continued with our original G1 Stepper toy. The toy was mint, but it was missing the backpack which holds Nebulan, his Targetmaster partner.
Well the trend continued today, as I opend our MISB Lodoni figure, only to find that he's missing half of the head! The "twin-spikes" which folder over the "Transformers head" whilst Lodoni is in robot mode is missing. What's the chances I ask?

We've uploaded another
82 images from our trip to BotCon 2007 and New York, this time of the items which we bought. We came back with over 70 items, covering almost every Transformers series from G1 to Sports Label, so make sure you check that out. Each toy will get it's own detailed galleries, some of which have never been seen before (and will never be seen again). Keep checking back on Europe's premier Transformers resource for that.

It didn't quiet make it into the 7-7 update, but you can now find 280 photographs (minimum of 1000, several at over 2000 pixels) which we took during the
Hasbro Tour at BotCon 2007. The images include concept artwork for the Transformers Movie designs, early concepts through to production colour sheets for Transformers Cybertron Optimus Prime, prototype and testshot images, with colour sheets for several un-released Transformers Movie items.
Various high-resolution shots of Transformers testshots as well as lots of images of the Unreleased G1 Optimus Prime Voice-changer helmet and other Transformers toys which have not, many will not ever, be released. These toys include Toxitron, Titanium Arcee, Cosmos, Bumblebee / Cliffjumper and lots more.
You may have seen some
images from the tour, but not from a 9 megapixel camera!

Following on from the earlier 200 images we took at BotCon, you can now find an additional 112 images taken from the
Hasbro booth. Some of these images are extremely large, 2000 pixles wide, so if you're on dial-up you may have an issue.

July 7th is a day of remembrance here in the UK as two years ago to the day was the day of the London bombings. For us, this day has greater significance, as on July 7th 2006 Brett Reynolds (Toughboot aka 'Jammie Jammie', Primus over at Auto Assembly) passed away. Its hard to think that a year has already gone by, and we still wonder what Brett would have made of the finished Transformers movie.
As part of the launch of Version 8 of Transformers At The Moon, we made the logo of our Transformers In The Media area an image of the article that Brett wrote for Forbidden Planet magazine (you'll find the whole article inside).
So whilst you're reading up on the latest happenings in the Transformers community, please spare a not only Brett, but all those who are no longer with us to share in this special year and month for the Transformers brand

Yes we have finally arrived back in the UK from our Botcon / New York holiday trip which was plagued by heavy delays. As you can expect we have a lot to catch up on from emails to news stories, press releases, convention galleries and general toy reviews / image galleries. Please bare with us as some of the BotCon reports will take a while to complete fully (full transcriptions of the panels and Hasbro tour) but we'll try to bring you as much as we can as soon as we can.

As you have no doubt noticed there has been no new news stories since the 27th June here at Transformers At The Moon. There is a simple reason for this, we flew out to Botcon that day and won't arrive back in the UK until the 6th July as we are currently in New York.
Looking through our In The News service, most of the news that we have missed has been Botcon related, we will publishing our own BotCon 2007 report once we are back as well as full transcripts of various panels. The remainder of the news has been concerning the Transformers Movies, which has now opened nationwide here in the United States of America. Whilst wandering New York this morning we notice a queue of one block for the 2:30pm screening. The Transformers Movie toys were also selling extremely well in Toys R Us in Times Square with several sections being cleared out between Monday and Tuesday this week.
As well as covering BotCon news we will be adding various new galleries including images from the event in super-high resolution, images of the items we purchased from the convention, as well as during out stay in New York. The galleries will range from new Transformers Movie figures too two Generation One resin hardcopies (one handpainted, the other clear resin).
