FrenzyRumble has put another customised Masterpiece combiner toy on ebay, following up his auctions for Devastator and Menasor. This time FrenzyRumble has created Masterpiece Defensor using the molds for Fire Convoy (RID Optimus Prime) as HotSpot, Armada Sideways as Groove, Classics Prowl as Streetwise), Cybertron Evac as Blades and Energon Towline as Firstaid (a bit like BotCon Ratchet).
The toy stands an impressive 18 inches, 47 cms, and is said to have over 50 points of articulation. The auction includes a nice gallery which we'll look to mirror once the auction has ended, so you'll be able to appreciate the toy in the future as well.
Even if you're not interested in bidding it's well worth having a look at this auction even if it's just to get some ideas for yourself.

A scan has been posted online from the February issue of the Japanese hobby magazine Dengeki Hobby. The two page scan contains new images of both Masterpiece Grimlock as well as Alternity Megatron. The Grimlock images show off two of the gimmick, the mind transfer unit from "Grimlocks new brain" and that the Autobot symbol on his chest can be rotated for a black version.
The Alternity Megatron images are of the prototype of the figure and give the best indication of how the final toy will look.
Update:
The Allspark's Hydra Darkwings has translated some other images of the MP Grimlock toy to reveal that he will no longer come with the crown accessory that was seen in previous images of the Grimlock Prototype.
