­­­The Revoltech website has been updated with images and information on the Transformers Movie Optimus Prime ­figure.­  The toy, that will be released on the 1st July 2011, has a retail price of 3800? and is 140mm tall, has 19 joints and was sculpted by Yuki Ohshima.  The site confirms that the gun is made from five parts, that he comes with four optional hands, 1 blade and a name plate.  Its also confirmed that the figure will have a metallic coating and will be built with a heavy / solid feel in mind to help reproduce being a giant robot.

After almost 20 years the Bios for the European Exclusive Transformers Rescue Force have finally been revealed .. along with an official Gestault Mode (Big Rescue Force)

Their names, Rescue Force (the plane), Rescue Force 1 (the blue crane), Rescue Force 2 (the car) and Rescue Force 3 (the drill tank)

Name: Rescue Force (Leo Zak)
Function: Rescue Operator
Profile:
He is the superpower of the Rescue Force.  As a plan, has advanced radar systems.  It is formed by the union of the other Rescue Force robots.

Name: Rescue Force 1 (Kill Bison)
Function: Rescue Discovery Robot
Motto: There are no rocks that can not move!
Profile:
In car mode, he is the carrier and tractor of the Rescue Force.  In robot mode, he has pincers weapon.  With the other Rescue Force robots, they form Big Rescue Force robot

Motto: Rescue the one in difficulty, even if he is your enemy

With his molecule breaking-up weapon, he destructs the rocks and opens the way. With the other Rescue Forces, they form Big Rescue Force robot.  As a vehicle, he is rapid and strong.

Function: Rescue Operator
Profile:
In vehicle mode, he is transforms into a rock-driller.  He watches the surroundings with his radars instead of sound receivers because he works with too much noise.  In robot mode, he fights with his photon-weapon.

Reports are coming in from Kapow Toys, via their Blog and FullMetalHero.com, that a Black Masterpiece Rodimus Convoy will be appearing for an online retailer (Part One Limited's e-Hobby Shop) along with new Transformers Encode Twincast and Soundblaster reissues.

The ­­Allspark.com board member RCX was looking over the special features on Shout! Factory's release of the Season 1 set of Beast Wars when he came across a rather interesting find, mock-up boxes containing placeholder for the Beast Wars characters.  Here is a list of the final characters and the names they originally had on the boxes

KOToys have revealed images of a knock-off Transformers Classics Rodimus sample along with news that figures using this mold will start to go on sale towards the end of this month or early next month.

Will this mean a KO's of the Henkei Wildrider, Shattered Glass Rodimus Prime and e-Hobby clear blue Rodimus toys are on the way? Time will tell.

YouTuber masainjapan2008 has posted videos from the International Tokyo Toy Show event that unveiled the Masterpiece MP-10 "new" Convoy figure.  During the unveiling the designers comments on how they really want to make a Masterpiece Bruticus figure!! Though this is wishful thinking by the designers at this stage it is also something screaming out for an international online petition.  If enough fans within Japan and the rest of the world want it, then it could happen.  You can watch the videos below.

Autobase Aichi have posted some new images of the Lawson Exclusive Battle Blade Optimus Prime figure as well as Transformers United Darkside Optimus Prime and Megatron.  All of the figures are recolours of their original release, with the figures currently being Japanese exclusives.

The Cyber-Gundam blog have also posted more images from the event including the MP-10 Convoy, the "Bathing Ape" exclusive G1 Optimus Prime in camo colours and more which you can find here.

Masabon has reported to TFW2005.com that Transformers: Darkside Moon, the Japanese name for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Vortex has now been released in Japan at the International Tokyo Toy Show. The toy is a remold of the Tomahawk figure with the following profile

Vortex is the aerial soldier of Decepticon. As he has ruthless and brutal nature, he ultimate pleasure is to chop up the Autobot he captures.

Full Metal Hero has posted new images of Transformers Masterpiece 10 Convoy

TakaraTomy have updated the official Japanese Transformers website with the following updates.

­The Mobage Transformers: The Live is introduced.  This game sees your favourite Autobots and Decepticons battle it out.

A page has been added advertising an event that takes place this Saturday in Japan (18th June 2011) between 12:00 and 12:30 that will feature the first public viewing of the new MP-10 Masterpiece Convoy figure.  After this event you can expect that the internet will be awash with more images of the figure that will no doubt be recoloured numerous times over the next five years.

The MechTech pages have been updated with a page dedicated to Wing Jet Optimus Prime and Ultimate Ironhide

The Transformers Chronicle is launched.  TF Chronicles is the new name for a new EZ Collection figure line based on the Generation One series and starting off with Optimus Prime
