TFW2005 report that in the latest edition of the Transformers Collectors Club, Brian Savage states that the Seacons are now in production with an aim for an April release, just in time for BotCon 2008. He goes on to state that the Transformers Collectors Club Seacons
are being produced to be similar to the unreleased Transformers Universe Seacons, but will not be exactly the same. Expected images to be posted over at TransformersClub.com as soon as samples are received from Asia.
They also report that in the same magazine, Brian Savage also talks a little about who will be the body for the Collectors Club Exclusive combiner. Not much information is given, other than that the toy will feature a gestalt head.

In a follow-up to the story we broke back on the
24th November 2007, regarding the
Transformers Encore Ironhide and Ratchet coming with new heads, something many sites only seem to be reporting today, an
image has surfaced over on ACToys.net to confirm this report. The image appears to show that the sticker will be placed over or behind the windscreen and will have the head of the figure appearing above the top of the windscreen in all its 2D glory.

According to Toy Retailers Association chairman Gary Grant, the Christmas market, here in the UK, two weeks behind when compared to the same period in 2006. So far, the most popular product is Hasbroā€™s Igglepiggle followed by "Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year Old?"
also by Hasbro and Vividā€™s Goldenballs. Mr Grant did point out though that some toys are currently being sold below cost price.
"It has been a very mixed bag this year, business is running about two
weeks behind where it should be, and that has caused a number of
retailers to stimulate business, which means there are a lot of
bargains available, ... There will be less profit for the toy industry this year. Shops are
busy, but it has been a slow build and that has led to a high level of
promotions and discounts,ā€¯ he said.

After speaking to the manufactures of the knock-off Binaltech and recently announced Metroplex knock-off we can bring you the first actual images of the KO Metroplex toy (a testshot of the figure) as well as the first image of the packaging. Previously all images were of the Hasbro release.
In even bigger news, they have confirmed to us that they are already planning a Metrotitan remake! There is no word as to whether the KO will come with Metrobomb and extra ramp, or whether it will be a straight re-colour of the Metroplex figure. This news will no doubt be extremely popular amongst many collectors, however it will equally annoy those who may already own the figure, as Metrotitan is one of the harder pieces to find. The KO Metroplex is due for release at the end of the month.
Don't forget that you can view images of the both the original Metroplex and Metrotitan figures in our Toy Gallery section along with another 1,929 other Transformers figures.

Ages 3 and Up report over at TFW2005, that there is a knock-off Metroplex in the pipeline from a company new to making Transformers fakes.
"As many know, competition in China is fierce for KO companies and to compete against eachother is commonplace. I have receintly been contacted by a different company than the first who is also doing KOs of G1 figures. Their first release - METROPLEX! I am told this is done is high quality and will come in a G1 style of box with styrofoam insert, instructions, catalogue and sticker sheets. I don't know what they will have for copyrites, this will be found out when they come in stock. The retail on this figure will be $124.99 US which I find is much more reasonable than $80 for a Dinobot considering the size and complexity of the figure. (a good portion of the cost is in the shipping as well)"
Don't forget that you can view galleries of the real deal Metroplex here at Transformers At The Moon, as well as the Japanese exclusive Destron recolour Metrotitan
