Ain't It Cool News report that Bernie Mac and Josh
Duhamel have officially been added to the cast for the new Transformers film.
"Yet more TRANSFORMERS cast members confirmed!!!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with another bit of TRANSFORMERS casting
confirmations. IGN really got a great line on this bit of news, with
Jon Voight and Megan Fox confirmed last week and Bernie Mac and Josh
Duhamel being officially announced today. Way to go, Stax!
So, that only leaves... who? Michael Clarke Duncan, John Turturro and
Tyrese were also mentioned by IGN, but haven't been confirmed yet.
I really like Bernie Mac, but I never in my life would have thought
Bernie Mac would appear as a main character in a TRANSFORMERS movie.
Don't watch VEGAS, so I have no opinion of Josh Duhamel. We all know
who the real stars of this movie are anyway. I like that we're at least
getting interesting characters to hold us over between the giant robot
fights... What do you folks think?"

TFWorld 2005 are reporting on a story original reported at
Entertainment Earth, which reports that Australian actress Rachel Taylor will be starring in the new Transformers Movie as a "code breaker".
RISING actor Rachael Taylor is poised to
take the "Aussiewood's next big thing" baton from compatriot Sophie
Monk after being earmarked for a part in the big-budget remake of Tranformers: The Movie.
The stunning 21-year-old, who played vixen Sasha Forbes on shortlived Channel 7 drama Headland, has been in LA in recent months in a bid to land a breakthrough gig.
It appears that role has arrived, with industry reports linking her to Pearl Harbour director Michael Bay's adaptation of the cartoon.
Taylor, who has deferred studies at the University of Sydney, is
tipped to play "a super-hot and super-smart codebreaker" in a revamped
battle between duelling alien races the Autobots and the Decepticons.
Screen great Jon Voight, John Turturro (O Brother, Where Art Thou?), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) and Josh Duhamel (Las Vegas) are also mooted for roles in the new flick.

Jon Voight told
SCI FI Wire that although nothing is finalized, it looks
likely that he'll be joining the cast of the new Transformers Movie. Voight is quoted as saying
"I'm playing this ... well, we haven't signed the papers yet .... But it looks like I'm going to play the
Secretary of State.".
He is also quoted as saying
"Well, of course, this one is going to have a lot of special effects, a
lot of computer graphics and stuff like that, so it seems," Voight
said. "So the actors will be tested. Their patience will be tested with
lots of different things. But it's going to be interesting, too. When
you do something like thatwhen you do a lot of computer graphics in a
movie, lots of technical stuffit's quite intriguing. It's a lot of
fun, you know? It brings you back to your childhood, and you want to
see how things work."

Seibertron.
I have joined the Art Department of DreamWorks latest project directed by Michael Bay and Production Designed by Jeff Mann. A

and the evil Decepticons; each are a race of machines who change form
from known Earth objects (a car for example) into a more humanoid
battle robot form. Heavy on visual effects and high on set and
location count "Transformers" starts principle photography this summer.

IGNs report yesterday and
recent Movie cast speculation.
Variety confirmed a report that Shia LaBeouf will star in Michael Bay's upcoming big-budget action movie The Transformers: The Movie.
LaBeouf is in final negotiations to play a lead role in the
