Stryker of AcToys has posted a second
image of the testshot for Transformers Movie Thundercracker, the news of which we broke earlier in the week. This time the image includes Robot and Plane mode.

this soundfile of Starscream talking. The soundfile is linked from an email on the website from COd3x.

Nelson, admin of Michael Bay's website and blog, has posted a brief update on the status of the
Transformers movie as well as a couple of other comments.
"
Spoke to Mike today...
-He's been super busy editing the movie and in the process shooting the
ads that will accompany the release of Transformers. He's doing ads
that involve GM and Pepsi.
-The unreleased ad (Prime speaks) that was posted on youtube was a
test that European were making with the ads. The clip where OP was
"speaking," lets just say that it wasn't OP or Cullen speaking. It was
something the European studios added on their own. In fact, it was a
test shot.
-As reported by Slate, Spielberg and Bay are not at odds. Where do they come up with this?
-As reported by naysayers and haters, Bay never said "the cartoons
were amatuer and our movie is spectacular" in Empire magazine. He was
referring to the animation and complexity of the transformation of the
cartoon robots themselves and not the cartoons as a whole.

Thanks to Synthia (Actoys member) for posting an image of what they describe as a Transformers Movie Thundercracker toy. The toy appears to have a different head from the Transformers Movie Starscream figure, which would indicate that this is not a photoshopped picture of custom repaint.

For the moment, we cannot confirm the validity of the figure, but so far we have not managed to identify the head on any of the other Transformers Movie toys.

An in package image of Transformers Movie Arcee has appeared on Chinese auction site Taobao.com. A sticker on the package shows that Transformers Movie Arcee will be a Target exlusive in the USA.
Arcee is one of many of the Transformers Movie Basics previously annouced, all of which are recolours of previously used toys.

A new set of Optimus Prime figures has hit an Asian auction site. (Taobao.com)
Named
the "Leader For The Ages" it includes the new deluxe movie Optimus
Prime and the deluxe Optimus Prime that was in the Classics dual pack
with the tank version of Megatron.
No word as to whether the pack comes with a DVD but it does appear that
there is a space on the back of the box where a DVD would be held.
There is also no word as to whether or not this is a retail store
exclusive.

The
Rules and Prizes regarding the Pepsi Transformers Movie promotion have been revealed, which include a
"Pepsi Optimus Prime TRANSFORMERS Collectible" worth $29.99.
The collectible could be a repainted version of the Transformers Movie Optimus Prime toy, or possibly the recent Takara Pepsi Convoy toy, although unlikely.

Softimus Prime.
TRANSFORMERS Movie Deluxe: SWINDLE
SWINDLE is one of many DECEPTIONS brought to Earth by MEGATRON just to
cause as much trouble as possible for the AUTOBOTS. He's not a great
fighter, but he makes up for it in the amount of pleasure he takes just
in blowing stuff up. His extending torso cannon fires explosive rounds,
and he leaps around like a madman, firing randomly in a fight. Battling
SWINDLE is like battling a crazy bundle of living dynamite!
Change this advanced-conversion, DECEPTICON figure from robot mode to
vehicle mode and back again! Robot mode features an awesome,
extending torso cannon!
TRANSFORMERS Movie Deluxe: DREADWING
DREADWING isn't terribly intelligent, so no one's certain where he got
the teleportation technology that allows him to warp up to two and a
half miles instantly. He sure didn't invent it and no one else has it,
so he must have stolen it, which makes sense. He is, after all, a born
thief. Sneaky and greedy, he pranks and steals from his fellow
DECEPTICONS as often as the AUTOBOTS. No one likes him, so he spends
most of his time alone, plotting grand schemes and spiking other
robots' gas tanks with sugar.
Based on the character from the TRANSFORMERS video game (not included),
convert this DECEPTICON figure from menacing robot mode to fighter jet
vehicle mode and back again! It features dual missile launchers in
robot mode! This is one awesome figure for your collection!
TRANSFORMERS FAST ACTION BATTLERS: Cannon Blast IRONHIDE
As AUTOBOT weapon specialist, IRONHIDE is as tough as they come. Gruff,
grim, and always ready for a fight, there's no problem he can't handle

On a team made up only of the most courageous and daring warriors from

laser fire and missiles, to reach an injured friend. He can't bear to
see suffering, so even as he defends himself with his battle axe, he

The Dutch Hasbro site has been updated with
images of several Transformers Movie toys, which appear will make up Wave 1. The Transformers toys are all deluxe sized figures and comprise of Transformers Movie Autobot Jazz, Barricade, Bumblebee, Decepticon Brawl and Scorponok.

e-Hobby shop has been updated with the first official images of the Japanese Optimus Prime toy from the Transformers Movie, MA-01 Optimus Prime. The images include
Robot Mode and
Truck Mode.
This will be the first time that an Optimus Prime toy will be released in Japan since

The TF.net, spotted that the
UK portion of the US Transformers Movie webiste has been updated with a UK release date of the 29th June 2007! This is quiet interesting as its almost a month before the scheduled release date. When we last spoke to representative at Paramount UK last week regarding checking the European reported release dates, they were still working toward a UK release date of the 27th July. Could it be that in the last few days something has happened to change their mind? Perhaps the international release date list I sendt them for the movie.
Stay tuned to Transformers @ The Moon as we hope to bring you some official comments from Paramount in the next week.
