Thanks to both Jon and Sven Harvey for both sending us update son the
Transformers Movie toys in Argos news story we published a few hours ago. John has let us know that the you can reserve the toys on the
Argos website for collection
today or tomorrow. John tried all the codes and they all work. Everything is in stock at his local branch other than the Leader and Arm Blaster listings. None of the items are available for home deliver. Not only that, but the site will also work out the BOGOHP offer! Here are direct links to the product listings
Great work Jon
Update A further update, this time from Sven Harvey
Popped into Argos today and found the brochure as mentioned in the
previous news item - however not only were all the items in stock
except the leader assortment, but the quickpay kiosks at least were
allowing you to buy them (at least at the Northfield store in South
Birmingham). I was tempted by Optimash Prime but really not interested
in the movie toys, at least yet so I didnt pick them up but the buy one
get one half price seems active also. The 6" Cybertron Heroes
Titaniums are half price too but my local only had Soundwave and
Rodimus, which I already have. Good hunting people! So the can indeed be purchased from over the counter!

Josh Duhamel spoke with MTV news regarding a not yet seen Apple iPod
Transformer from the movie. An excerpt from the interview reads:
"The Transformer that will steal all the scenes I would say is
this little iPod thing, [it's] crazy," he enthused. "It's pretty
cool."...But just because he's small, that doesn't mean this
Transformer shouldn't be taken seriously. "It's like this crazy little
12-inch iPod that turns into this little killing machine," he divulged.
Thanks to TFWorld2005 for the original spot.

Many thanks to Rich who's stopped by to let us know that the
Transformers Movie toys are starting to appear in
Argos Stockrooms. Not only that, but Rich has also given us the Stock Codes.
Noticed we've started getting movie toys in the Argos stockroom;
370/5199 "Movie assortment" (Prototype Optimus Prime is the only one so far);
370/5034 quot;Movie Legends" a combi item consisting of four separately packaged mini movie figs (Bumblebee, Barricade, Jazz, Ratchet) sold together as one.
No prices on the system yet so I've no idea when they'll actually be available to buy.
Cheers,
Rich.
