LATimes.com is reporting that "Transformers" will hold its U.S. premiere during the film festival on June 27th with one major spin from other movie premieres: it is open to the general public.
The Landmark Regent Theatre, Mann National Theatre, Mann Bruin Theatre, and the Mann Village Theatre are the four Westwood movie houses - totaling 4,000 seats - that will be showing the film on that day. The LA Film Festival website currently only lists the "National Theatre" as showing the movie at 8:15 P.M. PDT.
To attend the showing, purchase a ticket for the film festival and be eligible to buy a ticket for the premiere for "Transformers" for an additional $25 USD. An after-party is also open to the individuals who attended the premiere.

During my conversation with Paramount Pictures today they told me that the artwork for the UK
Transformers Movie posters are currently being approved and with all being they will go to print next week, so keep your eye on the site for more on this story over the next week or so. It'll be interesting to see how the posters differ from the US and international ones that have been seen thus far

Titan Magazines have sent through the following extract from a recent interview with Transformers writer Simon Furman
Q. For newer Transformer fans, describe your involvement with Transformers over the past 20 years, and how you came to be involved in the new Transformers UK comic.
A.I first started writing Transformers back in 1985, in issue #13 of the UK Transformers comic (published by Marvel). Since then I've written hundreds more UK stories, plus issues #56-80 of the US Marvel Transformers series, Transformers Generation 2 #1-12, various convention and exclusive comics, Transformers: The War Within (volumes 1 & 2), Transformers Armada/Energon #6-30 (both for Dreamwave), Transformers Infiltration #1-6, Transformers Escalation #1-6, Transformers Stormbringer #1-4, Transformers Movie Prequel #1-4 and Beast Wars The Gathering #1-4 (all IDW). Plus, the final episode of the Beast Wars TV series ('Nemesis pt2') and various books, including Transformers The Ultimate Guide and You Can Draw Transformers. It's got so now I tend to be the first port of call when there's new Transformers comic material in the offing, and that was certainly the case with Titan's Transformers UK comic when they wanted new strip to tie in the summer blockbuster Transformers movie. I guess I'm just the 'go-to' guy when it comes to giant battling robots .
Don't forget you can find out more information on the new UK Transformers comic by visiting

It's been a while since we bought a computer game magazine but upon feasting my eyes on an image of
Transformers Movie Optimus Prime, I decided to buck that trend and buy the latest edition of the
Official Playstation Magazine UK (Issue 80). I'm not sure when it was released, (a week ago I think) but if you've not picked up a copy then I'd recommed it for the length, multi-page, article on the Transformers The Game.
For those overseas readers who are unable to get a copy of the Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK, we've
scanned in the covers (both inner and outer) as well as the article itself. We've also taken high-recolution scans of all of the Transformers The Game in-game footage screen shots and other marketing images from the magazine.
The magazine scans can be found in our
Transformers related Magazine Scans area.

Thanks to Badger for reporting this
here on our Transformer Message board.
"
I work in reading, and yesterday a kid came in with a Transformers Movie Optimus Prime figure, so I asked him where he got and it turns out that the Woolworths in Reading was selling them. I took a break and ran over there and yep there were, i walked away with the voice changing helmet £29.99, and voyager Blackout and Ratchet both £19.99. there were others like Optimash Prime, Cyber-Stomping Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, and the Prime, Iron Hide and Starscream basic toys"
Currently the
Woolworths website does not have any of the Transformers Movie toys listed, probably because the official release date is June 1st 2007. As soon as their website is updated with the product listings we will bring you the direct links.
Update: Thanks to Cell for his post saying that as well as the above mentioned toys, Fast Action Battler Optimus Prime and Fast Action Battler Starscream will also be on sale soon. They are both in stock, but Woolies are not allowed to sell them yet.

The Allspark has
received information regarding future updates for the Transformers The Game website.
We've just received word from the proprietors of the Transformers The Game regarding some new and exciting developments regarding the site:- A
new four-tiered ranking system is in place allowing you to advance in
rank, gain power and build status. As you advance you'll have more and
more battle actions to choose from. Before each match, you'll be able
to choose which battle actions you want to take into battle. The number
of actions you can take into battle depend on your rank. For more
information, click on "Instructions" and check out the "Ranks" heading.
- Enhanced animations will make the Battle experience more real than ever before.
- Our new message forum allows you to talk strategy with your teammates or discuss the video game with the rest of the community.
- The
AllSpark Special Access section will be rolling out exclusive content
such as screenshots, developer blogs, G1 content, movie toy images and
movie stills. Only the team controlling the AllSpark can access this
section!
- As of 4PM PST on May 25th, the
Decepticons lead the Autobots by less than 400,000 points. It's a close
battle, still anyone's game. Autobots, you're gaining on the
Decepticonsthe AllSpark is almost yours

If you log in to the Sector Seven website using the password of
codeblack you will find a new email (behind the second button at the bottom). The email, called Operation Hungry Dragon contains a high-resolution image of the latest Transformers Movie poster known as the "International Poster".
You can see the image in our
Official Transformers Movie Image area, and the text reads as follows:
Operation Hungry Dragon 2 has begun its global initiative. Attached to this email you will find our new international "movie poster". We need to infiltrate the other side of the ocean before they do.
We're still conducting investigations of every protestor who tried to disrupt our ground campaign -- they will be neutralized. Unfortunately, our latest intel finds the level of anti-Sector-Seven feelings on the rise, no doubt thanks to X's increasing ranks of operatives.
What is a "Brotherhalo" anyway?
-John Ho
P.S. Reggie, can you believe its been 30 years to the day? Me, you and those foreign exchange twins at the Chinese. Good times.
