Win Tickets to see the Transformers Movie on 22nd June in London
Transformers At The Moon and Paramount Pictures UK have teamed up to offer you this once in a life time opportunity to attend an exclusive FDA Multimedia Screening of the Transformers Movie a month before it's official UK release, and week before its worldwide release.
You'll be attending an invite only screening, not open to the general public, on the 22nd June. Paramount Pictures UK are keen to offer the hard-core Transformers fanatics an opportunity to see this truly amazing film first, way ahead of the UK's belated release date, and so they have teamed up with us to give you this amazing opportunity. They want you to see the film, love the film and then help spread the word for its official UK release on the 27th July.
Here are the details:-
Transformers Movie Screening Friday 22nd June.
Doors open 17:30 for an 18:30 start.
Security will be high, hence the hour's "check-in time".
Final location is not named, although it is assumed it will be in the Odeon West End in Leicester Square. (Will announce the finalized details once Paramount have them).
Entry to the film is free, although you'll have to pay to get there.
No electrical equipment (cameras, phones etc) is allowed in the screen. You'll have to leave these outside of the screen (you'll get a token to pick them up afterwards).
UK Press will be in attendance (this is the first UK press screening of the film).
We have 8 pairs of tickets to give away, if demand is sufficient enough, Paramount have said they will try to increase this number.
Just email us your name to transformers@themoon.co.uk
There's not long until the showing, so we'll be closing the competition on the Sunday the 17th at midnight, so get emailing.
The winning names will be picked at random and will be announced early next week. The competition will close on Monday morning (00:01) on the 18th June giving us enough time to send Paramount the details so you are added to the guest list.
There will be some stipulations. The event will have very tight security, so make sure you get there with plenty of time. Reviews of the movie are not allowed to be published before the 28th June as their is an embargo in place, however you can post comments online afterwards and I will be creating a special thread in our forums just for that so I can send Paramount Pictures the feedback.
We'd like to thank Paramount Pictures for giving the UK Transformers fans an opportunity to see the film before it's general release.
Again, to enter the competition simply email your full name (plus that of a your guest) to transformers@themoon.co.uk to be entered into the draw.
This competition is open only to the residents of the UK and Ireland as it is a 'thank you' from Paramount UK for the support and excitement that the UK fans have shown towards the movie. So get entering and good luck.

Japanese Toy Hoby Market website has listed a limited pre-order for Transformers Movie Fast Action Battler Frenzy. The toy appears to be listed as an import US version and is listed for 3150 yen. Another image of the toy has also been added, here, to the TakaraTomy website.
The TakaraTomy lifestyle website has been updated with a Transformers Movie section. The area currently focuses on the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee toys, much like Transformers.com, showing them transform. The website contains little text, but what is there is subtitled into English as well as Japanese The other wave 1 Transformers Movie toys are also featured but only as still images of the toys in both robot and vehicle mode.
Credit to Snakas for the report.

G4tv.com are running a competition in association with Hasbro where the winner could win a chrome Optimus Prime (amoungst other things). The competition is only open to the residents of the United States (as you would expect), but here are the details
Create your own TRANSFORMERS video. The video can have any theme as long as it involves your enthusiasm for TRANSFORMERS. It can be a comedy, drama, action, romance, whatever, just be creative and use your imagination. Maybe you want to create your own mini-episode of the original TRANSFORMERS TV show or even a stop-motion action video with TRANSFORMERS action figures.
Just make sure it is creative and "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE". The video needs to be between thirty seconds and five minutes in length. You will also have the opportunity to remix your video with TRANSFORMERS animated footage. You can submit and upload your self-produced clips, edit that footage with TRANSFORMERS content or create a video solely using the provided TRANSFORMERS animation.
Sound and video clips from various original TRANSFORMERS episodes have been provided by Hasbro. The clips are available in the Jumpcut movie editor. Click on upload video to find out more about how to create / submit your entry to become the ultimate TRANSFORMERS Videobot!
MEGA PRIZES PROVIDED BY HASBRO
1ST PLACE One of a kind collectible Vacuum Metalized (chrome) OPTIMUS PRIME
2ND PLACE Exclusive TRANSFORMERS movie pack
3RD PLACE Ultimate TRANSFORMERS movie toy collection
It should be noted that though the chrome Optimus Prime will the the first used in a competition with the United States, if its a Generation One mold it will not, strickly speaking, actually be one of a kind.

The closing date for our competition to win both the Autobot and Decepticon logo light-up t-shirts from Thumbs Up Uk Ltd will be closing on the Sunday the 17th June (to enable us to get the winners details, and send them off before we head out to BotCon). Unfortunately the sizes of the t-shirts are fixed to those we have been given (small for Decepticon, Medium for Autobots).
The premier of the Transformers Movie took place today in Australia and some members of Don Murphys board were in attendance. The thread will no doubt contain spoilers so only click the link if you are sure you wish to read on. Though one thing seems to be in common, those who went rate the film highly.
