stars, the unique vehicles created for the movie, a discussion with
ILM's legendary digital artists and much more.

making of the SKORPONOK attack from writing and conceptualization
through the creation of the stunning visual effects.

The poster for the Transformers movie IMAX release has has been made public by several movie news websites. The poster is the "Spheres" one, but with the words "You haven't seen it all until you've seen it in IMAX. In IMAX theatres for a limited time". There is still no official word on whether the UK IMAX cinemas will be showing the film, I did raise the question to Paramount Pictures UK who are trying to find out. The poster can be viewed on photobucket,

With the figures in for the weekend and start of this week, Transformers has now moved up the highest grossing worldwide tables to 29th, ahead of Six Sense.
Figures are from
BoxOfficeMojo.
However TheNumbers (another Worldwide Box Office website) report Transformers as number 30 still. The reason is they have Jurassic Park II (The Lost World) as taking a lot more money than BoxOffice Mojo. There are also a few other films which they differ on.
Which is right? Well we're not sure, but what we do know is that BoxOfficeMojo is not accurate, as they miss out on certain countries (Sri Lanka), but their figures for international countries has also been inaccurate in the past.

In a new topic on Shoot for the Edit, Nelson has clarified what Michael Bay meant when he said:
"
I want people to see my movies in the best formats possible. For them
to deny people who have Blu-ray sucks! They were progressive by having
two formats. No Transformers 2 for me! "
Nelson has assured people that Mr Bay purely wanted to stress that he wants his films to be available to the widest possible audience. Nelson also jokes that Michael Bay quit Pearl Harbor four times, before making the film (so not to worry too much).
