In a post on his message board Don Murphy posted a link to an article on reserveresult.com which claims that the Transformers Movie sequel will have the tag line Revenge of the Fallen. As regular visitor to the site will know, we broke the news that Hasbro Inc has applied for a trademark with the USPTO for that mark along with Revenge of Unicron, Return to Cybertron, Revenge of the Decepticons and Return of the Decepticons.
Hasbro then later confirmed the title for the second Transformers Movie as Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen in an article on Transformers.com. The fallen in the title of cause refers to the Decepticons and not the character The Fallen.
Roberto Orci has also confirmed that the title was actually the brainchild of Alex Kurtzman himself, according to a poster on Shoot for the Edit.

Jason H has sent Transformerslive.blogspot.com a few images and information from the final nights filming from the Bethlehem Steel works where the opening scene of the Transformers Movie will take place.
"It is almost 6AM in the morning for me and I work at 9AM. I just got back from the final day at the movie set. This was pretty much the most amazing day of my life. I saw explosions, I saw helicopters again, I saw and met all the actors, and I finally was let into the movie set to watch the last scene in Bethlehem filmed.
When my friend Ben and I arrived at the set 8-ish at night we saw Bethlehem steel fully bright and active. We could immediately tell that Mr. Bay was filming today, even though it called for showers throughout the night. Luckily for us and them, it didn't rain too much.
Randomly, my friend Benand I were standing in front of Bethlehem steel, pretty much filming with his camcorder for fun. We planned to capture the helicopters circling around the steel mill... but randomly at the right moment and time we captured a massive explosion effect from start to end.
Throughout the night we saw minor random explosions and various small effects not really worth noting. At around 3-ish in the morning I heard commotion at the actors’ trailers. I ran over to the location to see Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson (pics below) heading to their trailers. I was able to snap a few pictures of them and I also asked if they were finished filming in Bethlehem, and they said yes.
My friend and I didn't feel fully satisfied with the trip. We really wanted to meet Michael Bay. So we waited at one the secured filming barriers hoping he would come up from the set to greet us when he was finally done filming. An hour or so passed by, we witnessed about two more explosions on set. Finally I see a black
SUV drive up near us. I was thinking it was security either preparing to tell us to leave or inform us that Mr. Bay was coming up to say hey.
Well. Two people greeted us and announced that everyone (around 20-30 people) was invited on set to witnessed Mr. Bay film the last scene here in Bethlehem. I am not going to describe what I saw out of respect for this film. I was also unable to have my cell phone nor camera on during my time spent on the set. But I am willing to say it blew my mind away, also I saw how the scene looked through TV monitors while Mr. Bay was too.
"
He has also posted a video on YouTube which features some of the explosions and gun fire

MTV
are reporting that the British actor Matthew Marsden has been cast in Transformers 2.
"Marsden has been cast in the role of “Graham,” a character who is
part of the British Special Forces. Although the film’s plot is being
kept under the tightest veils of secrecy, it is known that the flick
will depict an even more worldly battle than the first “Transformers”
film, and will shoot all over the globe. In the sequel, Graham teams
with Duhamel and Tyrese’s military characters, joining their efforts as
they do battle with the evil Decepticons.
The casting of Graham, and the presence of the British Special
Forces, would seem to indicate that Bay might do some filming in the
U.K. Cameras are scheduled to begin rolling on the fast-forming flick
in a matter of weeks."
Matthew Marsden is best know for appearing in the UK soap Coronation Street but he recently appeared in the new Rambo film as well as Resident Evil: Extinction and Black
Hawk Down

British tabloid newspaper The Sun have an article regarding 30 year Australian IT consultant Brad Jayakody who was recently stopped from boarding an aircraft at Terminal 5 at London's Heathrow Airport for wearing a Transformers Movie Optimus Prime t-shirt because a gun was shown. He was told he would be arrested if he changed back into the t-shirt. The Sun asked a Heathrow spokesman regarding the incident and was told "If a T-shirt had a rude word or a bomb on it for example, a passenger may be
asked to remove it. .... We are investigating what happened to see if it came under
this category."

TFW2005 are reporting that the Pontiac Solstice
vehicle prop and Darius McCrary, the voice of Jazz in the first live action movie, have arrived at the set of the second Transformers Movie. This had led to speculation that Jazz may be set to return in the second film, though why a voice actor would be needed on set at this stage is not known.
TFW2005 have also received some images from the set showing a Chinese police car patrolling the streets. Already some fans are expecting this to be Prowl, though it could simply turn out to be a police car on patrol.

The BBFC have released their ratings for the Easter Egg special features on the 2nd disc of Paramount Pictures Blu Ray release of Transformers. Not only is this the first confirmation that Transformers will be released on Blu Ray, but means that it is quiet likely that it will be released here within the next 2 months as the BBFC tend to cut their rating close to the deadline time.
In an interview at IGN Robert Orci confirmed that they are looking to fit Soundwave in Transformers 2.
Q: Is there one particular Transformer, good or bad, that you absolutely
had to get into the sequel?
ORCI: Yes.
Q: You're not gonna tell us.
ORCI: I'll tell you. We had to get Soundwave in there.
Q: Nice. Where Soundwave goes, will Ravage follow?
ORCI: Perhaps! Who's Ravage? ... I'm kidding! You know, we had Ravage in
an early draft of the first movie and Soundwave, and we couldn't do it right and
I think this time hopefully we'll have the ability to do it.
Of cause there is no word on an alt-mode for Soundwave as yet.

Back in feburary an undisclosed bidder on ebay paid $10,250 for the domain transformers2.com. Well earlier today the domain started redirecting visitors to the current TransformersMovie.com website. When we ran a WHOIS check on the domain early this morning, the registrant was not listed, however when we now re-ran the check it confirmed that the domain is now in the hands of Paramount Pictures. Who said Cyber-Squatting didn't pay these days.

MTVBlog have published a brief interview with Transformers Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura in which he talks briefly regarding some of the casting rumours as well as the rumoured inclusion of Broadside.
"Recently, the news broke that Jonah Hill won’t be rolling out in
“Transformers 2” after all. It’s sad, sad news for movie fans hoping
the sequel would get a legitimate comedic-sidekick injection rather
than, say, filling the role with Dax Shepard.
According to series producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the movie has
had to move on without the “Superbad” star – but we can still expect
some big announcements over the next several weeks.
“No, no,” he said of Hill’s reported casting. “Ultimately, we’ll have a couple casting surprises for everybody soon.”
Director Michael Bay and returning stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and
Jon Voight are reportedly on board to return, and Bonaventura confirmed
plans to start shooting the movie in Philadelphia and Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania next month.
“Michael’s got some really great stuff planned,” he added.
The super-producer, who we caught up with this week on the Downey,
CA set of his equally massive blockbuster franchise “G.I. Joe,” also
shot down rumors that Bay would finally create a long-rumored
character. “A transforming aircraft carrier?” Bonaventura repeated,
denying its existence. “We saw a Japanese film that had something like
that, so maybe that’s where that comes from.”
“We never really talked about that, practically speaking,” he said
of the character who might or might not have been known as Broadside,
and who Bay has said was simply too expensive to create. “There was
some Japanese animated movie we saw where that occurred, and we were
like ‘Wow! Look at that thing!’”
