Chris Hewitt of Empire Magazine have published a small article on the Empireonline website regarding a quote that Transformers star Josh Duhamel gave them when they bumped into him on the set of When In Rome last week. The quote he gave them was in relation to their question regarding what was the difference for his character, Lennox, in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, compared to the original Transformers Movie. Josh's reply was"“I guess who he’s working with is probably the biggest change,” said Duhamel,
before adding once more, presumably for emphasis. “Who he’s working with.”". Empire are reading into this that the Autobobts and Decepticons will be teaming up to face a more powerful enemy, in their minds that is The Fallen, though when you read the Transformers 2 Game summary, it could also be a powered up Starscream, perhaps using a fragment of the Allspark in an "Underbase" style powerup. Of course, this is all speculation at this stage, but time will tell.

The giant Transformers hand which was used to count down the days till Transformers was released in 2007 may be set to be reused to countdown towards Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (aka Transformers Movie 2).
The giant handed was spotted in the Hasbro offices during a My Little Pony tour, yes you did read that right. Pictures can be found on TFW.

Part of a recently released web document which revealed the existence of Microsoft's forthcoming version of the Nintendo Mii's called Avatars was information on the tie-in game to the Transformers Movie. The game, currently dubbed Transformers 2: The Ultimate Battle, is listed as being released on the PS3, PS2, PC, Wii, PSP, DS and Xbox 360. The document (you can find the image below) contains the following text.
"Make every second count Transformers 2: The Ultimate Battle, as you choose to seek revenge as the Decepticons or defined Earth as the Autobots. Go beyond the movie and drop into pressure-packed missions where seconds can make the difference between survival and destruction. Play as a variety of Transformers, such as the evil Starscream or heroic Optimus Prime, to either demolish or protect fully destructible environments around the globe. A new Transformation system gives you more detailed control as you instantly switch between Robot, Weapon, and Vehicle modes at any time to drive, fly, fight and shoot youy way through gripping levels. Then make your choice online as you go head to head against friends in multiplayer battle zones. Your alliance will decide whether Earth's greatest cities stand or fall in ruin as you experience the ultimate level of intensity in this race against time.
Price: $59.99 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360
$49.99 for Wii, PS2 and PC
$39.99 for PSP
$29.99 for NDS (2SKUs)
Expected ESRB Rating: T/Teen - Suitable for those ages 13 and older".
If true, this confirms suspicions that the returning Transformer metioned by Hasbro is not Megatron, as many believe, but is Starscream, with the film seeing him return to Earth with a new band of Decepticons to take revenge of the Autobots. Hence Revenge of the Fallen.

transformerslive.blogspot.com has posted some more images and information from the first day of shooting at "The Castle".
"Laurel Hill is finished filming there. Around 12:15pm Michael Bay
showed up to the set of the Castle. Behind those big black curtains are
bushes with some lighting on them. Crew members were seen bringing out
larger DJ style speakers. Security was pretty tight with them not
allowing pictures but I managed a few in here. Shia showed up at around
1 and went right into the Castle. There were 3 extras that were females
that went in to a building across the Castle with sound guys following
them with wireless pics. Kelly Drive has those police barricades there
but they were not in use today and the helicopter was still in
Fairmount Park."

transformerslive.blogspot.com once again comes through with a report and images from one of the sets of the second live-action Transformer movie.
"Filming at the Quads was pretty much all day with just Shia from what I could
tell. I asked people if Megan was there and they told me she was down at Kelly
Drive where they were shooting some chase scene. It looks like they shot them
yesterday along with a bridge race scene. I'm not sure which bridge it was
however.
Later in the day when they were done shooting
at the Quad, Kevin Dunn came out wearing a visitor’s pass on his shirt!
Confirmation! Looks like he visited Sam at school. No sign of the mother.
Michael Bay came out and talked to a few of us there and he was really cool.
There were about 5 of us standing around talking with him. Kevin and Michael
both signed before getting into their cars while Shia went right into the car.
No sign of the [TF related] cars on the set today. I did get to
Fairmount to catch the chopper tonight. It was dark and only guarded by one
person so I snuck up and got the photo. Both Optimus and Bumblebee were in the
parking lot today but covered over.
The frat house is in the middle of
being transformed. They brought in all their own landscaping including laying of
new sod and the sprinkling of leaves on the sod. One truck was at the State
Penitentiary today for a little bit. They will be filming in the Quad area with
Shia for 3 more days at least I was told. It looks like they were able to get a
lot done today."

transformerslive.blogspot.com have posted some images taken at the Transformers 2 base-camp at The Dairy Fields in Fairmount Park. They also report that "a helicopter that looked similar to Chinese helicopter with front mounted camera used at the Bethlehem shootthe previous week. Shia Labeouf was spotted near the trailers but no other cast members.
In addition, he stumbled across Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Ironhide, a front damaged 2009 Saturn Vue Hybrid and a new gray concept car being loaded for transport to the Walt
Whitman site. The Hybrid could be for a particular scene or even a
damaged TF but that is just speculation. I believe the concept car is a 2009 Chevy Corvette XR1 that is the alt mode for the Transformer Stinger."

defamer.com is reporting that an extra was thrown off the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for "conduct detrimental to the blockbuster". Reginald Brown, a regular contributor to Transformers producer Don Murphy's dysfunctional message boards, had nabbed the plum role of "Man Eating Hamburger" in one of the film's action sequences. Mr Brown, or Hedgehog as he posted on the Don Murphy message boards then decide to approach Michael Bay on set to "teach him about Transformers", and was reportedly thrown off set.
"Bay had a plate of pasta and was headed to his trailer with his script
supervisor to discuss the afternoon's work. Hedgehog approached him
saying "Michael" like they were Bros. Michael turned and shot him a
look. Ian Bryce (producer) and his assistant blocked Hedge. Can we help
you? they asked. No said Hedge, I need to learn Michael about Transformers
while I am here. Ian signalled for two set security guards who escorted
him off, screaming "But I'm a Don Murphy STOOOOOGE". He was paid his
two days wages, returned his wardrobe and left. Many threats were
repeated, along with "I never liked Bay's dumbass shit anyways."

According to the Saab History website, the Aero-X concept car could make its debut in Transformers 2 as the alt mode of Wheeljack.
Saab is a subsidiary of General Motors whose has supplied most of the
automobiles used for the movies. Right now its still the rumor stage,
no on set sightings have been seen but its strikes me as a perfect
choice for the character.

Fanblog, transformerslive.blogspot.com, has posted a scan of a call sheet used on Wednesday June 4th for the Bethlehem Steel shoot for Transformers 2: Return of the Fallen. The call sheet lists all of the characters (and cast) used at the site and also reports on some of the Transformer characters. Those mentioned in the blog article are:
- Ironhide
- Bumblebee
- Arcee (Motorbike)
- The Twins (Ice Cream Truck)
- Stinger (Porsche)
- A Decepticon Audi RS8
- Wheels / Wheelbot (a go-kart)
- Jetfire (SR-71 Blackbird)
- Constructicon Earth Mover
Its quiet likely that many of these characters will be Allspark infused Earth machines, much like the Moutain Dewbot, but only time will tell.
