Collider have posted a video containing an interview with Transformers 5 director Michael Bay which primarily focuses on his latest film, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi but does go on to mention not only Transformers 5 but the future of the Transformers Cinematic Universe.
No real information is given away though as you would expect

In an interview with Rolling Stone Michael Bay confirms that he will be returning as the Director for Transformers 5. The interview, also reveals details of a concept scene for the next movie.
“Between his producing duties and directorial work, Bay usually has a half-dozen projects going at once. Right now, in addition to 13 Hours, he’s doing post-production on the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which he’s producing and which is due in 2016, and pre-production for the next Transformers, which he’s directing for summer 2017. “I’m doing Transformers … 5, is it?” Bay says, temporarily losing track. He shakes his head. “I’ve taken on a lot of work.”
“The movie industry has really changed,” Bay says, apropos of nothing. “The middle-[budget] movie is basically gone. They just want these big movies.” (The irony of this statement goes unremarked-upon.) “Transformers, I still have a great time. It’s fun to do a movie that 100 million people will see. But this is the last one. I have to pass the reins to someone else.”
I remind Bay that he said the same thing before each of the last two Transformers movies. “I know,” he says. “J.J. [Abrams] told me, ‘You’re the only guy that could do this.’ But it’s time to move on. One more.”

Well the cats out of the bag as Hollywood Reporter are reporting that Paramount Pitures are teaming up with Hasbro Inc to create a Universe based on five of Hasbro's properties Transformers, G.I.Joe, Micronauts, M.A.S.K, Visionaries and ROM.
Transformers and G.I.Joe have already had live-action films with Micronauts being in the work for a long time and Visionaries being planned for revival for over 5 years (we broke down the state of Visionaries over on TheVisionaries.net a while back). A reboot of M.A.S.K has also been in the work for ten years with the original order of brand release set to be Transformers , G.I.Joe, Micronauts, M.A.S.K and Visionaries, ROM we don't know about.
According to the report Paramount Pictures are announcing a new deal with Hasbro on Tuesday that will see Paramount and Allspark Pictures, Hasbro’s film label, build an interconnected, cross-property onscreen universe, featuring characters from five of Hasbro’s other brands: G.I. Joe, Micronauts, Visionairies, M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) and ROM.
The site goes on to state that Allspark Pictures will produce the films with Brian Goldner (President and CEO of Hasbro), Stephen Davis (Exec VP and Chief Content Officer) and Josh Feldman (head of film development) working with Paramount Pictures to shape the universe.
You may wonder how these brands will be able to work together, well it's actually a pretty easy process. M.A.S.K, G.I.Joe and Transformers can all take place on Earth with the first two lines easily crossing over and the latter having a 30 years history of collaboration. Visionaries can easily take place on an alien planet that the Transformers could visit perhaps even playing a part in the Great Cataclysm though on a world where technology has failed they may well fit into some of the original mythology for season2. ROM again could also cross over with Transformers for an adventure in space whilst the new Micronauts film, originally with JJ Abrams on board, was planned as being a Transformers prequel anyway .
Expect more on this story in the coming days, weeks and months.
EDIT - Whilst the article does not directly suggest that Transformers will be a part of this on-screen universe, Micronauts has already been mentioned various times as being set within the TF universe and it makes joining the brands far easier to do with a race that can travel the stars

Steven S. DeKnight; one of the writers of the Transformers Cinematic Universe recently sat down to talk to IGN.
“It’s that wonderful thing where features are now taking a page from television and getting people together to really try and plan things out. It was a wonderful experience. Akiva Goldsman was fantastic and Jeff Pinkner, who’s co-writing the fifth [Transformers] movie with him was phenomenal. Zak Penn… It was just a room full of brilliant, funny, amazing people. And we spent two and a half weeks in physically the best writers room I’ve ever seen in my life. Paramount pulled out all the stops. It was phenomenal! We laughed and joked and told stories and plotted out…”
DeKnight had to keep his secrets about Transformers, noting, “I can’t say what we plotted out, but it was all very exciting and in the next few months we’ll see what moves forward and what doesn’t move forward. But it was a fantastic experience. One of the best experiences of that was when Steven Spielberg popped by one afternoon to just sit and talk and hear what we were working on. Everybody was about to throw up, they were so excited.”

Paramount Pictures have changed the release dates of both the Australian and Egyptian screenings of Transformers: Age of Extinction. The Australian date has been bought forward to the 25th June 2014 with the Egyptian release now being bumped even further to the 23rd June making it the first country to have the film released!!
You can check out the new release dates on the official website.
In related news it appears that Paramount Pictures are not going to be running any advance, FDA or advertiser / sponsor / licensor only screenings this year here within the UK. Normally this is a sighn that the stuio have low expectations for a movies release, but it may also simply be down to the World Cup.
