BigPete reported the following over at NTFA.net
regarding the NTFA Mini-con
"Upon arrival, each attendant will receive 1 (one) free Movie Deluxe toy with a numbered exclusive NTFA Mini-Con convention sticker!
These are handed out at random, and none of them are available in any
Nordic stores yet! We'll keep handing them out until they're all gone,
and they are sponsored by the very friendly and supportive people at
Hasbro Nordic!
Please note that pre-registrants will be supplied
first (regardless of actual arrival time) -- we cannot guarantee that
there will be enough toys to supply the people who turn up at the door
without pre-registering.

We have updated our Conventions Gallery section with 328 high resolution images from the Plastic Model and Radio Control Show that took place on the 13th October 2007 in Japan. TakaraTomy were at the event, though we do not (currently) have images of any sort of Transformers display. However, good news for fans of Roadbuster and Whirl, as smaller versions of the figures will be re-issued next year under the Dorvack line priced at 3,500 yen, about £15. Click the thumbnail below for a very high res version or view the full gallery for all of the images.
Thanks to Yokubarion for the images.

Following up on our recent news reports from the 2007 Chara Hobby event in Japan, Snakas has updated
his website with more images and information on the event. The new information includes word that the CMS Dia Atlas figure (previously a Wonderfest exclusive) was also on sale at the event, more information on Sky Lynx and a little more on thhe book that was next to the Movie Optimus Prime concept. The concept figure of Movie Optimus Prime was next to the Transformers Movie Ultimate Guide book which will be coming out in Japan. The book includes information and images on the production of both the film and the toys. Many of the images shown in the book were seen by Transformers fans at BotCon 2007 who attended the Hasbro tours. Snakas reports that TakaraTomy are currently looking in to re-releasing Sky Lynx (though technially this would not be a re-release in Japan as the figure was not released their back in 1986). He confirms that there is no scheduled release date or price point for this item, and we expect that TakaraTomy are simply trying to gauge interest in this figure. Visit
Snakas website to view the original Japanese report as well as images.

As promised, we're bringing you more information from the Chara-Hobby 2007 convention, as well as on Nike Free Marie Convoy, which many fans are calling Ultra Magnus.
At the Chara-Hobby convention, a finalised version of the Transformers Sports Label Convoy Marine edition was shown. Both the plaque and the box which the toy comes in clearly names the figure as Convoy and not Ultra Magnus. This is final confirmation of the toys name.
Also the plaque on Sly Lynx does mention that it is part of a Takara project, which would add to speculation that they are working on a re-issue, rather than simply displaying the toy.
Speaking of the Chara-Hobby event, stay tuned as we'll be bring you a huge gallery of images, as we always do from the Japanese collectors events.
