The Allspark have spotted some interesting auctions on ebay for what may be a reissue Transformers Classics Jetfire and a Gold Chrome Chest Version of Fall of Cybertron Grimlock.
Classics Jetfire has an Autobot insignia on his chest but Decepticon emblems on his wings whilst the Fall of Cybertron Grimlock figure comes with chrome gold paint, akin to the Takara Generations release, but placed a little differently on this figure. This version of Grimlock is thought to be the Platinum Series version mentioned at Toy Fair 2013, which is to be released in a giftset bundled with Fall of Cybertron Bruticus.

Auto Assembly have released the following information regarding issues with the Hilton's online booking system
In recent weeks, it has become apparent that there have been some issues with the Hilton’s Auto Assembly mini site (accessible via the link found in your AA ticket confirmation emails). Whilst the technical hitch has not affected all site users, it was causing some attendees to have difficulties booking rooms for certain periods over the Auto Assembly 2013 convention weekend.
We are pleased to confirm that having been in discussions with the Hilton for the past few days, the issue now appears to have been resolved. Furthermore we have successfully negotiated a deal whereby the Hilton has kindly agreed to afford extra rooms for Auto Assembly attendees, such has been the popular demand. We hope this will go some way to helping everybody out.
We would however bring the following points to your attention.
Thanks for your understanding – we look forward to seeing you at the Hilton in under 9 weeks!

Auto Assembly have made another guest announcement for this years event and it's none other than Jim Sorenson!! Yes after a 3 year absence from Auto Assembly, Jim, who's last UK show appearance was at Roll Out Roll Call where he and Bill Forster announced the release of their G.I-Joe Field Manual books, Jim is returning but will he be bringing the fez?
Here is a copy of the official announcement:
After a three year absence, we are proud to announce that writer Jim Sorenson is making a much-overdue return to Auto Assembly for the 2013 convention taking place over the weekend of 9th – 11th August 2013.
In his own words, Jim is a super-secret spy, has a motorcycle, marooned in space, meets Hercules… or not… He’s been a long-time fan of science-fiction literature in general and Transformers in particular. His guidebooks are well regarded by the fan communities for their exhaustive attention to detail. Reports of his incarceration in another dimension should be dismissed as the unfounded rumors they are.
He has been working for IDW since 2006 and in that time he has been responsible (solely and in collaboration with Bill Forster) for Transformers: The Ark, The Ark Volume II, The AllSpark Almanac, The Complete Ark, The AllSpark Almanac II. He is currently working on Transformers Legacy and the Transformers: 30th Anniversary Collection. In addition to these he also wrote the GI: Joe field Manuals, volumes 1 and 2 and is currently working on a new Robotech RPG supplement. Jim’s blog can be found at http://boltax.blogspot.co.uk/
At Auto Assembly 2010 Jim presented Oddities And Curiosities, a retrospective look at 25 years of rare Transformers artwork to a crowd of over 500 people in Birmingham, England and he will be taking to the stage at the convention for a Q&A Panel… who knows what he will say this time around!
If you have not already booked for the convention, tickets are still available and they can be purchased from the site at: http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/auto-assembly-2013-ticket-bookings/ but they are selling faster than ever this year so book early to avoid disappointment as we do have a cut-off of 1,000 attendees this year!
As well as Jim, we are being joined at the convention by Dan Gilvezan (G1 Bumblebee), Neil Kaplan (RiD Prime) and Steve Blum (TF: Prime Starscream), as well as comic guests Simon Furman, James Roberts, Andrew Griffith, Nick Roche, and many more.

Autobase Aichi have posted over 50 images of the Transformers Go! event which has taken place today at the Hiroshi Shinagawa Prince Hotel. The event featured a toy display covering the Cybertron / Autobot leaders from the original Convoy (Optimus Prime) through to Transformers Go! (Beast Hunters) Optimus Prime. Also shown at the event were the Alternity GT-R Convoy and Star Saber figures, leaflets promoting these two toys along with Fortress Maximus and Megatron from the same line and a GT-R Satefy Prime was also in attendance, or at least a cosplay.

BotCon have updated their website with an image of the BotCon set box. This time around the packaging is designed to look like a traditional Machine Wars box, with the window on the front.
Fub Publications have updated the Botcon website with two new images of their Obsidian exclusive figure from this years set. When the toy was first shown off, the figure's colour scheme was based upon the original toy, however it seems, from this photoshopped mock-up, that fan reaction has caused them to re-think the colour scheme so that the toy will now be decoed to look much closer to the CGI animated show. You can view the new images below and all of the Botcon 2013 images after the jump.
