Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with a new Ark Addendum entry. This weeks entry, which will have a follow-up, is entitled The Dormant Volcano Mysteriously Erupts! The entry features Pipiro, an orphan from the South American village of Pan, and his friend a donkey named Koro. The sheet contains a funny size comparison of Pipiro and Koro. For those scratching their heads, these characters are from the Japanese Headmasters series.
The character sheet was given to Jim by myself a month or so ago when I found around 200 character sheets that I had misplaced and so I scanned them all in and sent them along to Jim so he could look through and let me know if he was missing any. It turned out that there were a couple of sheets he hadn't got, so I rescanned them for him and now they have been touched up and officially part of the Ark Addendum.

Million Publishing have announced that a new Transformers Generations Book will be released on the 18th November 2010, though no further details have been given though the image on the Million Publishing website, based around a poster for Transformers The Movie, includes Masterpiece Rodimus, and "Welcome to 2010" Unicron so most likely the book will be a collection of the three latest Generations Books plus the newer 2010 toy releases.
You can view a listing for the book on Amazon Japan as well as the announcement on the Million
Publishing website

Shane McCarthy has updated his blog with an entry that contains an RTF download of the Drift script which gives everyone a look at how the first issue of the Drift mini-series was presented to the artists.
I get a lot of questions regarding how I go about writing and
specifically how I lay out my scripts. I figured it was time to post
one up to make it easier to see how I go about it all…Maybe down the track I’ll post up how I get to full
script in more detail but for now I’ll just say I follow the usual path
of basic idea…outline…beatsheet…full script.
I’ve chosen the script from TRANSFORMERS: DRIFT #1. I write my
scripts in Final Draft but I present it here in Rich Text format to make
it more accessible.
Enjoy.

DRIFT #1

IDW's Mike Costa has posted on the IDW Publishing message boards regarding some upcoming story arcs for the Transformers ongoing comic book series from the publisher.
- Issue 12 concludes the current "International Incident" plotline.
- Issue 13 will be a self-contained tale.
- Issue 14 kicks off the five part "Revenge of the Decepticons" arc.
- The three after that make up a three part story called "Space Opera".
Costa does not consider this an arc, but two arcs and an epilogue.
- This will be followed up by another pretty major three issue arc.
- Issue 25 will be a stand alone issue, and... that's enough for now.

TFW2005.com board member Magnus' Mate has spotted a new book listing on Amazon UK titled
The Transformers Vault: The Complete Transformers Universe. The book is listed as being 160 pages and is written by Pablo Hidalgo. The author has received mix reviews for his work in the past, but the publisher ABRAMS, received lavish praise for their Star Wars book which was also called The Valt.
The book, I expect, will cover a wide spectrum of the Transformers Universe from the toys, to comics, cartoons and merchandise. Obviously there is no way you could cover everything in 160 pages, but it will be worth keeping an eye on
