We've just uploaded Version 6.2.8 of the site. Most of the changes are cleaning up of some HTML code, correcting of RSS alternative feeds, and increasing the number of news stories the
news feed gives from 10 to 20. But if you notice any new bugs, let me know.

Hasbro Inc., the United States second-largest toy maker, reported this morning that their profits rose by 15 percent in the fourth quarter of 2005, led by strong domestic sales growth powered by Star Wars merchandise. They reported net income of $94.3 million, or 48 cents per share, compared with $81.9 million, or 44 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue in the U.S. toy segment, which includes the Star Wars and Furby lines, increased to $305.6 million from $263.7 million. Game segment revenue fell to $235.8 million from $270.3 million.
"While I am pleased with our overall performance, in particular our Star Wars product line, the games segment performance was below our expectations and clearly there is opportunity for improvement this year," Chief Executive Alfred Verrecchia said in a statement.

Don Murphy has posted his Sunday Update over on his message board
here. On a Transformers related note, Don points our that
[snip].... that pesky greenlight looks like it is coming. Any Damn Minute. If you read the Hollywood papers, Dreamworks and Paramount have been merging .... so this delayed us an extra week. Probably no big deal in the long run.. On the voice actor debate update, Don posted that
I should tell you all that the Cullen/Welker thing is far from a done deal. I spoke to some Dreamworks execs last week long distance and they really think the old voices link our new movie to old things. I disagree. I know you do too. It will be Michael Bay's decision. When I prepare my report to him about this very subject I will let you know. I believe this is the ONLY thing the fanbase is in agreement with.. He also wanted to make it clear that
NO DECISION HAS BEEN MADE YET about the voice actors, EITHER WAY..

Michael Bay posted the following comments on his message board, regarding the Transformers film.
...I'm really excited about it. We have been drawing for nine months. The alien robots are awesome. The script is getting very close as well. Seven Spielberg has been been very involved with me on the script, working with Kurtzman and Orci ....... We start shooting at the end of May for a 7-4-7 release. (How much do you want to bet Fantastic Four will move after they see our stuff) We have some mindblowing images and action in this film that I know will satisfy the deep fan base and turn non Transformer fans into one. The movie has real edge, humor and heart.
There are soem rabid fans otu there. I just found out that we had 9,456 attempted hacks into our serer that holds the movie art work just in the month of Jan. I had that server disconnected today.
I will keep you in the loop weekly -- now that I just figured how to log onto this site.

Thanks to Bluestreak56 for posting an update regarding when the TRU UK reissue stock / Cybertron / 20th Anniversary Prime, that he reported as having arrived in the TRU warehouses on the 29th Jan (see his original post
here), are likely to start springing up on the shelves. Basically Bluestreak56 explained that it will probably be 2 to 3 weeks until the toys will start to be shipped to the stores, then its up to the stores as to when they will actually put them out on the shelves. Of course, as customers, if you start asking questions, it may increase the chances that your local branches will put them out sooner rather than later.
The toys, incase you missed it were
Inferno - £14.99
Prowl - £14.99
Smokescreen - £14.99
Thundercracker - £19.99
20th Anni Prime - £49.99 (entered warehouses 29/1/06)
All Cybertron classes have also arrived in the TRU warehouse on this date.
