Brian Savage of the Transformers Collectors Club sent out the following email to all members
"We have found another way to ship some product
to our non-US customers at a lower cost and it has been implemented into
the store. It is called Global Priority Mail. This service does have
some limitations. The shipment must fit into a box that is no more than
36 inches by adding length+girth+height. Also, the order cannot be over
4 lbs.
For example a 1 lb package to the United Kingdom via surface mail is
$24.25 and takes 4-6 weeks.
The same package via airmail is $16.75 and takes 7-10 days.
The same package via Global Priority is $10.50 and takes 4-6 days.
I know, it doesn't seem to make much sense but that's the USPS rates and
delivry standards.
We hope that this lowers some of the foreign shipments costs. It won't
work for all orders as the items are tool large or the order will be 100
heavy. We think it will work for the bulk of your orders.
Make sure you check the store each week at transformersclub.com/shop to
see what the new items in stock an the weekly specials!
Thanks for your support,
Brian"

Becky has dropped by our message board once more to post an update on
her thread about the ransformer Fans Opinions Wanted! Here's he new information
The exact locations are to be confirmed but probably south east (so
sorry London again!) but also midlands which opens it up to a few
others. Once i have exact locations and dates i'll let everyone know,
its good to know that people are interested.
We had thought about that unfortunately the research will be taking
place mid to late April and the Auto Assembly is not until June which
is a shame as that would have been ideal!

Nevermore posted the following on several places such as
The AllSpark and
TFW2005Okay, I refrained from reporting this until I got more details, so...
There appears to be a weird radio program that's going to start today.
Title is "Transformer Kiss", and from what I could gather, the concept
is that a girl kisses a Transformer which gives him special powers?
This was first reported in the Dengeki Hobby Magazine issue that was released two weeks ago, and more details can be found at Autobase Aichi in the news entry from yesterday (April 02).
Usually I wouldn't report this, but the title "Transformer Kiss" raises
the question about a potential connection to the "Kiss Transformer
Convoy x Melissa" listing we got last week.
Speaking of, it appears that last weeks listings, including
"Transformer Atari" and Masterpiece Starscream, currently haven't been
listed by Japanese stores yet.

Thanks to Weelzewezzar for reporting that Wave 2 of the Star Wars: Transformers line (Anakin and Darth Maul) are now out in Tescos and also that Mudflap and Leobreaker are in stock at Toys R Us. Following on from our report of
Evac's release on the 31st March.
Though Transformers are not especially hot items in the UK, Star Wars: Transformers
are, and they are currently the number 1 selling line in the Toymaster member stores.

The Japenese Trademark Website has been updated with another Transformer entry for Takara. With the last few updates, Cybertron Unicron, "
Gen1 Neo" Astrotrain you'd have thought that the next toy would be someone like Masterpiece Starscream ... you'd be wrong. Its Galaxy Force Backguild aka Cybertron Defense Scattorshot. The international registration number, for those keeping a note, is 1266829. You can find out
how to use the Japanese Trademark website, from an earlier news story. The toy is listed as being registered on the 17th Feb 2006 with an effective date of April 4th 2006 (tomorrow)
.
