Seibertron have a report regarding the future of the IDW Beast Wars comic series.
The news reads:
Good news for fans of Transformers Beast Wars. Not only is the final
issue of the Beast Wars mini-series by IDW on store shelves but it
appears this issue is packed with some great news regarding future
Beast Wars comics. There will be another mini-series this fall, from
Don Figueroa and Simon Furman (assuming they survive Stormbringer).
Also there will be Beast Wars profile books. The text of the profile
books will be done by both Simon Furman and Ben Yee.

In his latest
blog entry Michael Bay comments that the character names contained within the scripts are aliases and
not the names of the actual characters that will appear.
It's a bit tiresome to watch all the supposed script leaks on Don
Murphy's site.
There's been a lot of chatter about character names and what
"things" may be called in the script. I'm going to let everyone in
on a little secret. Something that the writers don't know, nor my
crew, or Steven Spielberg, or the presidents of Paramount and
Dreamworks. Not even Don Murphy who is not involved on the day to
day with this movie.
Many of the names in the script are aliases.
The only people that know the real names of many of these
characters are the COO of Hasbro, their corporate lawyer and
myself. I think this is two less people that knew the secret recipe
for Coca-Cola.
On my directing contract I had to sign all these non-disclosure
agreements just on this character name point. These names will not
be revealed until the toy boxes are printed.
The writers had to construct the script where no actor needed to
verbally refer to a character by name other than the main
few.
So rest asured A.K.A Devastator, is not really Devastator.
Michael

Hi Everyone,
Just to let you know that the third Auto Assembly podcast has just been uploaded to the server today and it's our biggest show yet running in at an astonishing 83 minutes!! Why is it so long? Take a look at what's on the show and you'll see why...
Once again, the show has all the latest news and developments on Auto Assembly: Target 2006 including exclusive news on our latest additions to the charity auction and new items on display as well as an exciting event taking place at the convention. We've also got a great competition sponsored by Titan Books with FIVE copies of the graphic novel Dinobot Hunt to give away.
The show itself has plenty of great stuff including the first part of our interview with comic artist Simon Williams, the second part of our look at the history of Auto Assembly, plenty of general Transformer chat including a look at toy repaints, E-Hobby's Twincast, and loads more. On the music front, we have six great tracks (many of which have been taken from albums this time) including tracks from Wally Wingert and top video games musicians Bjorn Lynne (composer for the legendary Worms series) and Andrew Barnabas (Primal, Beast Wars). If that wasn't enough, the show also has a special guest appearance from G1 voice actor Neil Ross (Slag, Springer and many more)!
You can download the show, and the first two if you haven't already got them, from
http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/podcast.htm as an MP3 file. Feel free to send us your comments and suggestions about it to us at podcast@autoassembly.org.uk (you can even send them as MP3 files for us to feature on the next show!) or alternatively you can leave them on the forum at
http://autoassembly.proboards7.com Enjoy the show and we're looking forward to seeing many of you next month at Auto Assembly: Target 2006 and thanks to all of your for your support so far with the shows and the convention!

The
Allspark report that Hasbro has posted the bios for the Beast Wars Anniversary Optimus Primal and Megatron over at their
Beast Wars site.
MEGATRON
"An
insane, hyper-intelligent criminal mastermind who led a group of
renegade PREDACONS to Earth in search of the Energon they would need to
conquer CYBERTRON, MEGATRON became so much more than a petty felon. He
launched an assault on Time itself, seeking to change history to his
benefit. He destroyed countless lives in his mad quest to exterminate
the TRANSFORMERS, and was stopped only when OPTIMUS PRIMAL brought him
down. Now, he has returned, and his battle with the MAXIMAL leader
rages across the multiverse!
OPTIMUS PRIMAL
Cut off from
CYBERTRON and trapped on primitive planet, OPTIMUS PRIMAL and his
MAXIMAL crew are forced to become warriors in defense of a helpless
world. The rogue PREDACON leader MEGATRON and his deadly clan of
lunatics have come to gather vast quantities of Energon, but the
discovery of alien artifacts leaves MEGATRON with another goal: use the
power of the Golden Disk to alter the future and return to CYBERTRON as
conquerors!

mirrored the image and report the only difference they can see is the date reads "1985-2005" instead of "1984-2004" like it's North American counterpart.
