Auto Assembly 2004 has confirmed that it will be joined by a Transformers voice actor for it"s convention taking place on the weekend
on 8th - 9th May 2004 and it will be none other than Wally Wingert, the voice of Sideburn and Mirage in Transformers: Robots In Disguise!
Wally is an incredibly versatile performer and in addition to his work on Transformers, he was worked on a large number of other
animated TV shows including "Family Guy", Warner"s new series "Astro Boy", "Rugrats", "Invader
Zim", "Power Rangers", MTV"s "Super Adventure Team" and "Ace Ventura: Pete Detective". He has
also done extensive TV narration, radio work and has provided voice overs for numerous computer and console games including several
Star Wars titles, Escape From Monkey Island, Enter The Matrix and is the star of the Maximo games on the Playstation 2!
Wally will be with us for the full weekend and will be giving a talk during the weekend, on hand for signing autographs and meeting
fans, and will be involved in other aspects of the convention that we will be announcing over the next few weeks.
With regards to Wally"s appearance, this has been made possible thanks to two main sponsors. First is High Technology Publishing
who specialise in stunning remix CDs of studio arrangements of game music from classic Commodore 64 games and they can be found
at www.c64audio.com
Next is myself (Simon Plumbe) and I am doing the global PR work from my PR agency, Simply Gaming PR, for Chris at High Technology
in return for his payment for Wally"s flight costs. I am also doing work in relation to AA fundraising through my Commodore 64 retro
gaming sales service.
We have had additional support from other donors to our guest fund including the guys at TF@TM but further donations will help us
offer even more if anyone can help!
If you want to know more about Wally and his work, visit his website at
www.wallyontheweb.com where you can find audio clips, video
clips (including a recording session for Sideburn), some of his superb spoof songs, and much more. We will be updating the Auto
Assembly website today with more information including brand new speech from Wally recorded exclusively for Auto Assembly as Sideburn
and Mirage!
Hope to see you all there!

OTFCC posted a note on their main page to help make clear how you can onbtain the Ultra Magnus Palisades Statue, should you so wish. Here"s how
There are two (2) ways of obtaining this statue:
1) If you are attending OTFCC 2004 this July in Illinois, you may preorder the statue and pick it up at the show, regardless if you are a member of the Club or not.
2) If you cannot make it to the convention, but are a member of the Collectors" Club, you may preorder it with the appropriate shipping charges.

We"ve received words form the Organisers of Auto Assembly on an update regarding the Voice Actor situation. Without further-a-do, here is the announcement...
We can now confirm that Auto Assembly has secured the appearance of a voice actor for 2004!! We will be making the full announcement tomorrow about the identity of this person and other details, but we can reveal that it has been made possible thanks to a couple of sponsorship arrangements.
The sponsors are High Technology Publishing who specialise in CDs of retro gaming soundtrack remixes and their website is at www.c64audio.com. Also, the guest is being sponsored by Simon Plumbe (yes, organiser of AA!), in terms of PR work he is doing for C64 Audio in lieu of flight cost contributions). His site can be found at www.simonplumbe.co.uk
We are still in need of donations etc. to help cover hotel bills but the basic costs to get the actor to the UK are covered!

88mph Studios are offering refunds to al those people that did not receive their Genesis book. Simply email them at
tfgenesis@88mphstudios.com. You wil receive an automatic reply with details.
We bought the Genesis book from London back in October / November and yet people that ordered direct not only paid more money but also did not receive the book. The whole situation has been extremely stressful and costly to all those people that ordered the book from 88MPH.
