Hasbro have updated there web site with a new Q&A section for this week.
Q: Recently, you mentioned that there were no plans to re-release G1 SUNSTREAKER. Does this mean that the commemorative series will be cut off at some point without completely re-releasing figures such as WHEELJACK, TRAILBREAKER, SUNSTREAKER, and the rest of the well-known G1 TRANSFORMERS?
A: The re-release of the Generation One figures is dependent on the availability of the tools/molds used during original manufacturing. Since these toys are up to 20 years old, not all of the molds have been located or exist anymore.
Q: Will the Energon ULTRA MAGNUS be released in another wave? Will there be more of that figure shipped to stores?
A: ULTRA MAGNUS was shipped only during the first wave of ENERGON. At this time, we are not planning any additional shipments.

Scooter B dropped us a message regarding the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime. Here"s what he has to say....
I reciently found 20th anniversary Prime in the U.S.. So it"s the hasbro version small smoke stacks and all. I also know that If someone bought a MP Prime (the takara version) early on in the release they got a Grey Blaster instead of a black. This was strictly by chance, not a promotion for early bird buyers. Anyway I bought 2 Primes in the U.S. both had black blasters. 2 Days later on a target shelf I found a single 20th Prime sitting there. I didnt pay much attention ( I had my 2 already). Then with closer examination I found that the 20th Prime was holding a Grey Blaster in his hand rather than a Black one. This was something I immediately freaked out over. Its like being a kid and going to the zoo for the first time, and actually being that close to an animal...it was pretty damn exciting. I immediately bought it because I knew that this wasn"t normal, and possibly could have been takaras way of moving out old product. (like the bumble jumper mistake in the 80"s) So far I have only heard of one other incodent of this happening. It was in Michigan by a man who didnt know what he had, and simply posted a Prime sighting on a web site. Get the word out and see actually how many of these things there are out there. My guess is not many at all. The grey gun of Takara is Rare as it is, so I am guessing that a Hasbro boxed Grey Blaster Prime is 1 in a million. SO lemmie know what you know. I would be more than happy to send some pictures of it to you guys if you want to post it on the site. Cause if its as rare as I think it is. THis is going to be something I"m gonna hold onto for sometime. But get the word out, Let me know if you need pictures, because if it"s as rare as I"m thinking it"s gonna be this is looking like a new age bumble jumper with the rareity of a MISB Artfire/Stepper. Hope you all put some research into this too, because I and the rest of Transfandom will want to know for sure. -Til All Are One!!!!
Scooter B.
We"d cetainly like to see some pictures, you did not leave your email address so we have no way of contacting you.
