Action-HQ have put up a listing for Takara Re-issue number 15 - Stepper. You can see the listing
here.
With Stepper being re-issued and the Inferno and Soundwave mould already being used, it is not too much to think that Takara might well re-issue Artfire and Soundblaster as part fo the Headmaster Re-issue series before moving onto Masterforce and eventually Victory toys

I too was one of the lucky few to receive the demo disc in the post. Straight into the machine it went. And oh my god.....AWESOME. I remember reading somewhere that "the screenshots don"t lie". I would like to say "YES THEY DO" they dont do it justice. The game is graphically one of the best I have ever seen. The water fall near the ancient temple is unbelievably realistic. The trees are round rather than ikea flat packs. The grass moves with every step.
The game also plays really well. Easy controls, pick up and play. Nice helping hand from Optimus Prime every time you hit a relevant part of the map. The decepticlones are relatively clever too. They dont always wait till your tapping their shoulder with your plasma gun. Trying to pick you off from some distance even in the Rookie Mode (which was the only mode you could play it in).
Unfortuantely you can only play as Red Alert on the demo disc, hence why it was called Transformers : Red Alert. Maybe someone lucky enough got Transformers : Optimus Prime.
The only niggle i could say was the movement of the car. R1 to go forward and L1 to go backwards is a bit awkward.
I particularly also like driving at immense speeds into a group of decepticlones and then transforming to blow them into numerous parts, which continue to bobble around the floor for a while.
This game is going to blow peoples minds, hopefully just like the film will when it is made.

Today we received a free demo of the Playstation 2 game from Atari. I"ve got to be honest that I"m not sure where from (I think straight from Atari looking at the bubble bag), so I"d like to say a big THANK YOU to who ever sent it.
I"ve got a 1/2 day off work to wait for a parcel, so I know what I"m going to be doing now.
