With just a week to go before the UK Transformers convention, Auto Assembly
2004, we have managed to confirm two more last minute guests...
Auto Assembly 2004 is now going to be joined by Alex Mitchison and David MulQueen
from Maximum Entertainment who are releasing Robots In Disguise on DVD in the
UK and will be around all weekend to talk to fans and answer questions about
their forthcoming releases.
Also, we have just confirmed that we are also being joined by comic artist
Simon Williams, who recently worked on the UK Armada comic for Panini creating
most of their cover art, some of the art for the minicon strips, plus interior
art for the supporting features. This will be Simon"s first Transformers convention.
This brings the total guest line-up to seven guests, our others being:
Wally Wingert - voice of Side Burn and Mirage in Robots In Disguise
Simon Furman - Transformers comic and TV writer
Andrew Wildman - Transformers comic artist
Lee Sullivan - Transfomers comic artist
Metrodome - UK/European Transformers DVD producers
Tickets are still available for this convention and more details can be found
on the site, along with downloadable booking forms and further details on the
convention itself including more details on the guests, activities, charity
auction and much more.
For more information, visit the website or email us for more details. We can
take bookings online and full details are on the website.

Simon Furman"s new book, Transformers: The Ultimate Guide will be available
to buy at the UK convention, Auto Assembly 2004 taking place on 8th-9th May
2004 in Birmingham, England but it"s no ordinary copy of the book that will
be on sale...
The book is being released by renowned publishers Dorling Kinderlsey, and is
a fully illustrated hardback guide to Transformers covering all eras from G1
right up to the present. Simon is bringing along a limited number of copies
with him for sale but these are rather special.
This is a Bookplated Edition which is limited to just 50 copies worldwide and
it is expected that these will be a complete sell-out at Auto Assembly so if
you don"t buy a copy at the convention, don"t expect to get one anywhere else!
Simon is hoping to be selling these for just £20 each and they will make
a great addition to any fans collection. He is also going to be bringing a display
from DK relating to the book itself.
Tickets are still available for this convention and more details can be found
on the site, along with downloadable booking forms but because the convention
is now just over a week away, we would now reccommend booking for the convention
electronically with payment being made by PayPal and we would now have to make
tickets available for collection on the day rather than sending tickets to you
but places are still available.
Tickets are just £15 for the full weekend and include a pack of goodies
including a 56 page colour convention magazine featuring brand new cover art
from Lee Sullivan, and other free gifts including convention exclusive postcards
with art from Andrew Wildman and Lee Sullivan, Transformers stickers, magazines,
free snacks and more.
Further details on the convention itself including its guest line-up including
Transformers voice actor Wally Wingert, video programme, activities, charity
auction and much more can be found on the website.
For more information, visit the website or email us for more details. We can
take bookings online and full details are on the website.
