More on the Alternator Mini

We received the following reply from Mini to a question we sent to them regarding a Hasbro Mini product in the Alternator line, as there had been conflicting reports on the web.

Here is what they said

Dear David,

Thank you for your recent enquiry.

We are not aware of an official BMW product available, but are aware of the Hasbro model, which is available in the US.

I hope this answers your question.

So what exactly does this mean? It"s still quiet vague and can be interpreted in two ways. I guess OTFCC may hold the answers, but in the meantime we are hoping to get clarification on this.

UPDATE: Hasbro confirmed that they want to make a Mini but currently do have the licence as yet.
