The European release of Alt Swindle can be found now in Forbidden Planets!! First reported by Jaguaratron in Derby the toy, in the 6 language packaging, has now been confirmed as also being in Scotland. Thanks to Nevermore for letting us know and Phill for confirming the 6 language and Scottish sighting. You'll note that Meister is shown on the box, but this is most likely a standard EU advert for the Italian release as he is not due out in the UK.

Thanks to Transfandom for the news that a Mini-Cooper robot is indeed going to be made, but efore you get overly excited it will not transform. Here's what they Mini say
"It's here. The MINI R50R Robot, a collectible in the likeness of the humanoid robot created by Colin Mayhem and first discovered on the World Wide Web. Arms move for increased pose-ability. Elbows bend for better motorist rescue action. Shield attaches and reattaches. Nearly a foot tall. Also included: a 44 page excerpt of Men of Metal: Eyewitness Accounts with Humanoid Robots with 18 startling photographs. Collector's model: Not a Toy. Not Suitable for Children Under 8 Years."
To read more and see some images vist the Transfandom forums
here. If nothing else this lowers what was a remote chance that an Alternator version may have ever been produced.

Thanks to Nevermore for letting the Trans-Europe Express team known that
Hasbro Germany updated their website to include a picture of Alt Swindle on their main page (it appears in a rotating order). Does this mean that Germany may be getting the Alternators over a year before their expected release? Time will reveal all.
Update : Nevermore has received confimation that as expected, "Swindle" on the main site was simply due to a cross-European site programming for Hasbro Germany/Netherlands thingie. Basically, Swindle is scheduled for release in the Netherlands, hence he shows up on Hasbro Germany's site as well.

We are extremely please to announced that with the migration of our database our website move is now 98% complete! There are three jobs left to do, and at least two of those should be completed by the morning. At that point our main domain will be back online.
We'd like to thank everyone for continuing to visit our little corner of the internet
during the last few weeks. Those weeks have been extremely taxing in one way or
another and over the last 3 weeks our site has been hosted on no less than 4 servers
on three hosting companies. We are hopeful that this new host will prove to be
the best choice. Already their is a distinct speed increase of up to 40 times
(average of 13 times) on the news page over that of four weeks ago!!
Once again, thank you for sticking with us over this time, and we can assure you that we have some fantastic galleries and projects in the work that we think you will all enjoy.

We received a letter from Hasbro on Friday regarding the OTFCC and old Collectors Club. The letter basically put the sole blame on 3H and made it clear that Hasbro take no responsibility for any losses incurred by members of the old 3H fan club. Several times they refer to the offer of free wreckers issue 4 and one years new fan club membership plus their distribution of the OTFCC 2003 plates and OTFCC Sentinal Maximus. Sadly the standard letter does not mention that your free membership is for a 2nd year in the new club.
