Thanks to I-Primus, Bluestreak56 and Phill for their posts on
this thread on our message board regarding TRU UK increasing the space that Transformers has within stores. No one is quiet sure what stock will fill this space, but there are certainly some interesting possiblities.

From the
Auto Assembly website.
We should be announcing the date and first details for Auto Assembly 2006 in the next couple of days. What we can say right now is that tickets will be going on sale at Auto Assembly 2005! One thing that we will be doing is restricting ticket sales for the first 28 days to AA2005 attendees only so if you want to be at the front of the queue for AA2006 tickets then you need to be at AA2005! And with what we have planned for next year, it's an event you won't want to miss!!

From the
Auto Assembly Website.
Kicking things off is the latest addition to our charity auction, courtesy of David Sobolov, the voice of Depth Charge from Beast Wars. Rather than sending a signed photo, David has sent us a copy of the original Audition Sheet he received for Depth Charge back in 1998 when he first tested for the part! It's a fairly unusual item and David has signed this for us! You can find more details on this - and the other items so far - in the Charity Auction section of the site.

In his weekly Sunday threads, Don Murphy had little to say this week regarding the Transformers film, other than
"...Been working on trying to do something cool at Comicon." and
"The script is coming this week.". With the scripts continued progression and Michael Bay 99% confirmed, he's still yet to sign, the film is ticking over towards Comicon.

This request was posted by Simes on our
message board yesterday.
Unfortunately due to issues outside of his control our Cameraperson cannot be at Auto Assembly 2005.
We therefore are in desperate need of finding someone with some experience to make a record of the event with both a still digital camera for AA archival and promotional purposes and, probably, some footage with a miniDV digital video camera.
Can anyone interested please contact us urgently at enquiries@autoassembly.org.uk

Newsarama have put up an interview with new Transformers publishers, IDW. You can read it
here.
Thanks to Phill for posting the news on our message board..
Some breif tipbits...
Our "0" issue in October will carry a price of $0.99, and will be a 24-page comic, offering a 16-page story that sets up the entire first storyline, some interviews and editorial pages that speak to our future plans, and additional pieces of artwork from other folks, too, all carrying IDW's usual high production values.....
We plan to interact more closely with some of these fan sites on some projects over the next few months, too unbeknownst to them until they read this, anyway. And we'll be attending Bot-Con in Dallas this September, so it'll be nice to meet some of the loyal fans face-to-face. In fact, you Bot-Con attendees are in for a nice surprise this year, too more on that later.
Our initial title, which starts in October's "0" issue and continues in the 6-part Transformers: Infiltration that debuts in January, will be its own continuity
Which is why we'll logically then lead right into our Crisis on Infinite Cybertrons maxi-series by Wolfman and Perez..
I've actually been talking to Simon for months, and he's an integral part of our relaunch plans. I don't think you could point me to another person who's more well versed in Transformers lore than Simon. It's for that reason that he's going to be our writer on the ongoing Transformers book, as well as some other projects down the line.
