Chris Ryall posted a few clarifications of his own over at
TFW2005. You can read his original post
here but below is a summary of whathe had to say.
(In regards to IDW releasing the old Marvel Transformers series with a new twist, possibly re-coloring, so to speak...)
"Nope. You'll see. It's good news. And it would never include redoing Nel Yomtov's work. Nel deserves to have his work seen as it was."
(In regards to the vague "Hmm..." response in the interview regarding Rodimus Prime and Galvatron...)
"As for my vague "hmmm" in response to the Rodimus Prime question... yeah. Hang on. You'll see... eventually."
(And in regards to people wanting to see Beast Wars comics...)
"If it makes you like me even more, I can tell you that some Beast Wars-related comics in '06 are much more than a possibility. In fact, I can assure you you'll see some BW comics next year.
So yet another confirmation of at least one Beast Wars comic for 2006.
