Seibertron.com have posted a interview they have held with Botcon Organiser Pete Sinclair regarding the choice for next years convention to have a Machine Wars Theme.
What was the inspiration for a Machine Wars theme? Pete Sinclair wrote:The inspiration here is a basically a "Machine Wars: Series 2." The 2013 BotCon offerings will work both as a stand alone AND as a continuation of the Machine Wars line. Once people read the fiction fans will see each toy from both series 1 and series 2 work as their own individual character.
Also, even if you did not grow up collecting Machine Wars, this set is going to be very appealing for many reasons and we anticipate that a wide range of collectors' will want to add these toys to their collections. They look really sharp!
e-Hobby have updated their wbesite with a preview of the comic which will come with their forthcoming Solar Requiem set which is being produced in conjunction with the Transformers Collector's Club. The set, for those who have forgotten, is the Shattered Glass repaints of Generation One Blaster, Soundwave, Ratbat, Slugfest, Rewind and the new character, Solar. The preview is the cover of the 10-page comic along with a a glimpse of one of the inside pages. From the preview, which shows a normal characters mixing with the Shattered Glass universe characters it can be deduced that the events of the comic will take place after the events of this years Botcon Comic, Invasion. You can view the preview below.

Thanks to Big Bad Toy Store, we can now share two new images of the upcoming Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Predaking figure which includes a first-look at the toys robot form. The images, which can be viewed below, confirm that the toy is also a homage to the Transformers Cybertron Scourge figure, or as he was known in Japan?Transformers Galaxy Force Flame Convoy?
The robot mode has a head sculpt which fits in very well with the recent Transformers Prime designs, though for a voyager class figure, he almost looks as if he has been scaled down. The final version of the toy we expect to see paint-application changes, especially on the silver dragon heads, though Hasbro have designed to figure to not require that many paint applications to help keep down the cost.
