The following is from a press release for Auto Assembly
Leonard Nimoy Autograph In Auto Assembly 2004 Auction!!
Auto Assembly 2004 has now confirmed that sci-fi legend Leonard Nimoy, the voice of Galvatron in Transformers: The Movie and the star of Star Trek, has very kindly donated a 10x8 black and white signed photograph for the charity auction at Auto Assembly, the two-day UK/European Transformers convention that is taking place over the weekend of 8th-9th May 2004 in Birmingham, England!
Pre-bookings for the convention are oprn until the end of April although it is expected that on the door places will be available on the door for single days and for the full weekend. If you are unable to attend, you will still be able to take part in the auction by taking advantage of our non-attendee package which will also get you all of the convention goodies!
The convention has six guests - our guest of honour - RiD"s Wally Wingert (the voice of Sideburn and Mirage), Simon Furman, Andrew Wildman, Lee Sullivan and Jane Lawson and Joanna Moher from Metrodome and there will be DIFFERENT guest talks on each day. Different events will be on each day with video screenings, dealers tables, an alternative events/games room, toy and art displays and much more.
Tickets are just £15 for the full weekend and include a pack of goodies including a 56 page colour convention magazine and other free gifts including convention exclusive postcards with art from Andrew Wildman.
For more information, visit the website or email us for more details. We can take bookings online and full details are on the website. The details on the autograph, along with a scan of the photo, will be on the Auto Assembly website later today.
