TF World have a photograph from the Argos catelogue that is out from next week. You can see the image
here. The picture includes Silverstreak. However,
TheTransformer.net are reporting that Hasbro have confirmed this. Whether they have told them directly OR whether this is reference to the article on
TFormers only they know. We can not get any information from Hasbro UK, who are extremely reluctant to answer and questions on their products. Silverstreak was reported as far back as November last year as being the next Alternator to be released since Subaru do indeed sell the car over here. We"ll know for sure next week when the catelogue is out and whether you can buy one from the store itself. If he does come out, then the question will be which version will it be. TFormers have a
gallery and some
information on the K Fest convention which has taken place recently in Japan.
Amongst the images you will find the
September issue TV Magazine mail order lot Fire SL Grand Convoy, TV Magazine October issue mail order Black Rodimus Convoy, a Robot Masters with Brave Max diorama, a poster on the voting for the next Robot Master figures and more. The convention exclusive was Pla-Kit White Grand Convoy. Attendees had the chance to purchase RobotMasters Beast Convoy who is not due out in stores until next month
The toys that you could vote for as the next RobotMaster were
1. StarSaber (previously announced and expected as a 1/2 size scale toy).
2. Victory Leo (as above)
3. BigConvoy (a nice suprise)
4. RoadRocket (the biggest suprise of all, one of the LazerCycles)
5. SuperGodGinrai
6. StarConvoy (who is in need of a decent toy)
7. Predaking (the only Destron entry)
8. Leo Convoy (another suprise really)
We expect that either StarSaber or Predaking will win, but that ALL of the toys will eventually be released.
In honour of this we are running our own poll on our message board
here

E-Hobbies are closing their orders for the
Insecticon Clone Army. We are taking orders for these at £40 (within UK inc postage) and £35+postage overseas.
We shall be closing our orders on Tuesday and shall be placing them on Wednesday to make sure that E-Hobbies receive it in time.
The price consists of the toys price, E-Hobbies commission, Japanese Sales Tax, Shipping from Japan to the UK, UK Customs Fees and recorded delivery within the UK.
The toys are due at the end of October, so will ship from e-hobbies in early November.
So if you are after these items, you only have a few more days to place an order. We are NOT planning on ordering in extras.

TF World 2005 have news, from Primal Prime, and pictures of a Yellow Alternator Hound re-colour ... TF World 2005 reports that he is going by the name of Swindle (probably due to the ebay auction), although Primal Prime does not name the toy (he wouldn"t know).
The version he has still has the Autobot symbol, probably as it"s a test shot, but could it be this will be Alternator Detrious (based on the e-hobby toy)?

Index"s new catelogue is out on the 17th, today, and their site is now listing Energon Wave one. The Argos catelogue is due next weekend, and is still said to contain some Alternators.
You can read more about these
here. Does this mean the news reported on TFormers was wrong, or was the catelogue printed before the news, or was it only about Sideswipe (as the car is not avalible in the UK). I guess we wait for the catelogue to find out.

TFormers are repotring that Hasbro UK have announced that they are not going to release any more Alternators in the UK. Apparently no stores are interested in them.
This can be put down to a few things.
1. Most older fans had already imported Binaltech and Alternator Smokescreens.
2. Many parents felt the toys were overpriced
3. Lack of advertising and distribution of the Smokescreen.
4. Nort American Centric moulds
Most UK"ers were fed up with the year plus wait for these toys that was epect for most of these toys and so imported them. There was also a question as to whether Hasbro US"s license covered a worldwide release, when asked at OTFCC 2003 Hasbro said they did not know if it would. It had been reported that most Alternators would be missed out due to the cars not being in the UK market anyway.
20th Anniversary Optimus Prime is likely to face the same fate.

Fan2Fan have updated their site with images of the Robotmasters, BinalTech DeadEnd and from the RobotMastes DVD. Also they are taking orders for DeadEnd for just $45, about £26!!! If we"d not already ordered ours we"d get one from them, as its the cheapest we"ve seen

Big Bad Toy Store have put a up a pre-order for an Alternator Mini. We"d advise people hold off on placing this item just yet. The mini-cooper robot shown on Mini"s site has been there a long time and was created for a add campaign, plus BMW who own Mini were reported to have turn Hasbro down earlier in the year regarding toy licenses. BBTS recently had to pull another preorder of the site (Wheeljack) after seeing a photoshopped image and before that sent out emails that Takara had confirmed "BinalTech Sunstreaker". Have they been duped again, or have Mini really been licensed and they"re robot mini was to gain Hasbros interest? OTFCC will probably reveal all, but we advise you take it with a health pinch of salt
Remember
this is where it all began. This is the site with the video and images of the robot later used on Mini"s site
